Great, great shoes. Fit is perfect. Very comfortable. And great traction on ice and snow. Had zero problems with any slippery steps or missteps on the snow and ice. That to me proves that they are worth every penny. Worth buying if you need a sense of comfort of safety.

These are the best pair of boots I've ever owned. I did not buy these for hiking perse, I got these because I wanted an all around boot for any terrain because I have a prosthetic leg and wanted to be sure footed. I just can't get over how comfortable these are! I've owned work boots and other type of hiking boots and I always end up with back pain. I've worn these all day and on my feet in a working environment and my back never hurts or my calves. My feet are very comfortable and never give out. It feels like I have house shoes on they are so comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try them hunting yet but I'm sure I will not be disappointed. The price was right and the quality is outstanding. I've owned Wolverines before and they've always been comfortable but these go beyond that and more. They are lightweight so my feet don't feel like they are ever heavy and never any back pain! ... show more

I've put these boots to test, hiking in snow and rain, and snowshoeing. I did spray them with a silicone spray before the first wear. They are comfortable and true to size, maybe just a tad larger than the size, but negligible. The one problem is that the tongue is too narrow, especially when you consider there is only one hook. I have to cinch them way too much to try and get the tongue inside the top of the boots, and even then sometimes I can see a gap. So while the boots so far do seem waterproof, it's hard to call them that when moisture can just get inside that gap. I would prefer either a wider tongue or two hooks. I received these pair of hiking boots in excellent condition. They were a little bit big for a size 11 1/2. This is not a problem for me as I can get Wolverine socks and it will fit just fine.

Been waiting to get another pair of these for over a year now. Finally got them ordered and at a price 15% below what they were last year. My last pair lasted nearly 12 years, including two trips to Mediterranean Europe, (curtesy of the US Navy), and the year I waited. They're the most comfortable ankle boot I've ever worn, and I wear them almost every day, including hiking about the neighborhood and along various nearby hill and mountain trails. I hardly wear any other outdoor shoe. Only complaint I have is that they took so long to arrive after ordering - came across eight (8!) states taking nearly two weeks. I was glad they arrived still in the box and in new condition. (The box was slightly damaged, but who wears a box?) Update: Wow, what a price jump!! When I bought them they cost just $49 - now $92?! That's an increase of almost 89% in a few weeks. Talk about inflation! ... show more
