  • Very nice 57 and 58 clones!
Color: wm-57
I watched a video a while back that did a comparison between this mic and the real SM57. The difference was completely unnoticeable to me. Granted, I'm sure there is a slight difference but my ears can't detect it. Your mileage may differ. I bought this mic to use with my cajon, as well as my speaker cabs and combo amps. It works perfectly! I've tried other 57 clones that weren't nearly as impressive as this one. This mic doesn't include a cable but that's quite alright considering the already low price. I'd much rather use my good quality XLR cables anyway, rather than the junky ones I've seen included with the other cheap clones. This mic is solid and heavy just like the real 57, so I'm pretty confident the durability will also be comparable to the real one. The frequency response is on par with the real one, and the clarity is just as good to me. Not muddy like others I've tried in the past. I would not hesitate to use this mic for acoustic guitar, vocals, drums or speaker cabs. But, don't take my word for it. Do what I did and check out the video reviews on YT first. Especially the comparison videos. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. This mic is priced at about 1/6th of the real one, so how can you really go wrong if the sound difference is ever so slight? I'm perfectly content with mine and will probably buy a few more. I will most likely try out their version of the 58 as well. When I do, I'll be sure to review it. Thank you Weymic for making such an excellent quality mic at such a reasonable price! Update 9/15 - - I bought the SM58 version and it arrived today. I cannot believe how good this mic is! The weight and feel is practically identical to the original and the sound quality is amazing! And now that I know, I am planning on adding a few more of both of theses mic versions to my stage gear. For the price of one SM58, you can buy six of these, which makes them an incredible value, considering how good they sound. Highly recommended for poor musicians like myself that need those great deals to survive! ... show more

  • Same high SM58 quality at a fraction of the price.
Color: wm58
Great mic! This was so inexpensive that I went ahead and purchased one for my practice studio set up in my basement. When I got the mic I compared to a sure beta SM57. Same cable, same settings. Side by side. This Wm58 not only sounded 'as good' as the beta SM57, in my opinion, it actually sounded BETTER! The default frequency curve set up on this Wm58 was actually more tuned than the beta SM57. The clarity and signal strength were identical. Couldn't believe it. The design is identical to the classic SM58 and the construction is basically 'identical'. (I picked the 58 model over the 57 model because the 58 model has a nice built-in wind screen that controls 'wind pop' when singing close. Otherwise, there's no difference between the 57 and 58 in my opinion). I don't know how these manufactures can 'clone' a world class microphone and then sell it at such an inexpensive price. I bought another one after receiving this one... not because I needed another mic, but because I wanted to have a 'backup' just in case my new mic was lost, stolen or damaged in some way. I would HIGHLY recommend that you consider these Wm microphones for your studio, rehearsing or live performance. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • It's too good, yet it's true
Color: wm-57
When I first picked up the WEYMIC WM57 Dynamic Vocal Classic Style Microphone, I was really surprised by how sturdy it felt. It's got this cool, old-school vibe that fits right in with my other gear. Setting it up was a piece of cake, too. It worked perfectly with my setup right out of the box, no fuss or complicated adjustments needed. It feels like it could take a beating and still keep on rocking, which is exactly what I need in my gear. Using the WM57 has been a real treat. The sound it delivers is clear and natural, with just the right amount of warmth. It handles loud volumes like a champ, which is great for both vocals and instruments. I’ve taken it to a few live shows, and it picked up my voice beautifully even in the middle of all the background noise. The cardioid pickup pattern really helps to cut down on that unwanted noise. Honestly, it holds its own against the Shure SM57, which costs a lot more. It’s amazing to get this level of performance without emptying your wallet. One thing that really stands out about the WEYMIC WM57 is the bang for your buck. The quality you get for the price is pretty impressive. The only downside I've noticed is that the mic clip it comes with is a bit on the flimsy side. It doesn’t hold the mic as securely as I’d like, but that's a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable mic for all sorts of uses, from recording sessions to live gigs. It’s not the fanciest mic out there, but it definitely gets the job done and sounds great. If you’re looking for a good, affordable mic, this one’s a fantastic choice. ... show more

  • Good poor mans 58
Color: wm58
This sounds surprisingly good for the price! Not blown away but it’s decent for the occasional singer or background reinforcement. I have used it on kick drum in a pinch and it sounded fine through the PA. Typical XLR jack. Durable enough for the price.

  • Should I buy it or not buy it.
Color: wm58
I have put this microphone on four different HF radios. works just fine on Icom Kenwood Yaesu. it's a good bang for the buck. you'll be happy you bought it. It is comparable to a Heil Studio mic, not much difference other than the price. It is built better than I thought it was going to be.

  • Highly recommend, coming from a drummer who records at home.
Color: wm-57
This mic is honestly comparable to the Shure57 mic but for a fraction of the price. Just important to remember that good mixing and placement is what makes or breaks a mic. I’ve got it in a perfect spot and captures what I need to capture on my drum kit perfectly. I currently use it for my hi hat but have also used it on my snare and it captures the sound very well. It hasn’t crapped out yet so it’s definitely built to last a while. Definitely recommend every at home artist to use this mic especially if they can’t meet the budget of Shure and other high end mic brands. ... show more
