  • Very nice 57 and 58 clones!
Color: wm-57
I watched a video a while back that did a comparison between this mic and the real SM57. The difference was completely unnoticeable to me. Granted, I'm sure there is a slight difference but my ears can't detect it. Your mileage may differ. I bought this mic to use with my cajon, as well as my speaker cabs and combo amps. It works perfectly! I've tried other 57 clones that weren't nearly as impressive as this one. This mic doesn't include a cable but that's quite alright considering the already low price. I'd much rather use my good quality XLR cables anyway, rather than the junky ones I've seen included with the other cheap clones. This mic is solid and heavy just like the real 57, so I'm pretty confident the durability will also be comparable to the real one. The frequency response is on par with the real one, and the clarity is just as good to me. Not muddy like others I've tried in the past. I would not hesitate to use this mic for acoustic guitar, vocals, drums or speaker cabs. But, don't take my word for it. Do what I did and check out the video reviews on YT first. Especially the comparison videos. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. This mic is priced at about 1/6th of the real one, so how can you really go wrong if the sound difference is ever so slight? I'm perfectly content with mine and will probably buy a few more. I will most likely try out their version of the 58 as well. When I do, I'll be sure to review it. Thank you Weymic for making such an excellent quality mic at such a reasonable price! Update 9/15 - - I bought the SM58 version and it arrived today. I cannot believe how good this mic is! The weight and feel is practically identical to the original and the sound quality is amazing! And now that I know, I am planning on adding a few more of both of theses mic versions to my stage gear. For the price of one SM58, you can buy six of these, which makes them an incredible value, considering how good they sound. Highly recommended for poor musicians like myself that need those great deals to survive! ... show more

  • It's too good, yet it's true
Color: wm-57
When I first picked up the WEYMIC WM57 Dynamic Vocal Classic Style Microphone, I was really surprised by how sturdy it felt. It's got this cool, old-school vibe that fits right in with my other gear. Setting it up was a piece of cake, too. It worked perfectly with my setup right out of the box, no fuss or complicated adjustments needed. It feels like it could take a beating and still keep on rocking, which is exactly what I need in my gear. Using the WM57 has been a real treat. The sound it delivers is clear and natural, with just the right amount of warmth. It handles loud volumes like a champ, which is great for both vocals and instruments. I’ve taken it to a few live shows, and it picked up my voice beautifully even in the middle of all the background noise. The cardioid pickup pattern really helps to cut down on that unwanted noise. Honestly, it holds its own against the Shure SM57, which costs a lot more. It’s amazing to get this level of performance without emptying your wallet. One thing that really stands out about the WEYMIC WM57 is the bang for your buck. The quality you get for the price is pretty impressive. The only downside I've noticed is that the mic clip it comes with is a bit on the flimsy side. It doesn’t hold the mic as securely as I’d like, but that's a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable mic for all sorts of uses, from recording sessions to live gigs. It’s not the fanciest mic out there, but it definitely gets the job done and sounds great. If you’re looking for a good, affordable mic, this one’s a fantastic choice. ... show more

Build quality is great and I can’t tell a difference in sound quality from my actual shure sm57. These make me want to check out their other microphones

Just couldn’t give it 5 stars, but for the money they are awesome on a budget. Put on on an organ. Sounded as good as a Samson CO2 and on the cajon. Not quite as good as a SM57, but on the budget I’d buy 10 more.

  • Great sound quality and seem very well built.
Color: wm-57
An exact copy of a SM-57, I can’t tell the difference. They pickup my kit perfectly. I’ve got one on every tom (5). The quality is excellent. Cheaper than SM-57 but only in price. I’ve been using the now for 7 months with no issues. Great mic.

  • Great mic ! Listen to my Video in regards to the sound this mic can produce
Color: wm-57
The microphone that I got, the wires were "not" un-soldered. I was careful check inside and I'm not sure why people would go in there in the first place, but again the wires in mine was OK. I write and record commercially licensed music under performance rights organization BMI, Inc as a songwriter/composer. Listen to my short instrument called "There is a light" that I attached to this review. This is from the microphone and there is hardly no other effects that I used except for post reverb. The recording applications that I am using the microphone for is to record direct baritone ukulele and also guitarlele (gutalele/guilele) which is not hooked up to any amplifier. I am using the xlr input jack on my USB audio interface that does have a mic' pre-amp. This microphnoe is so good as an alternative to the SM57, that I'm actually using it for many instrumental tracks like the one that I have in this review... It's that good of a microphone. You'll see a lot of guys stating that this microphone has a bit of a mid scoop in regards to the frequencies which is GOOD because many acoustic stringed instruments you want to have that in regards to pre or post EQ anyways. The other thing to note, is the reason why I use a dynamic microphone like this, is not just the over all cost.. It's because large or small diaphragm condenser microphone can pickup A LOT of outside noise. This microphone does not pick up any outside noise. Also, there is not a lot of noise floor / self-noise if you keep the gain down low, and then use normalization to boot the db's of the track in question. - Tom ... show more

  • Complete junk
Color: wm-57
I wish I could give it lower than 1 star, there is no way they could have even tested the mic when assembled. the wires were ripped off the mic element. not at the solder points but where it goes through the rubber insert. Now I have repaired many mics over the years working in the Audio/Video industry but this was completely unsat for a product. Not worth sending back. So do not buy and spend a little more for a Behringer or a lot more for a Shure microphone. ... show more
