This is my new favorite piece of furniture! It was a bit complicated to put together and took a while, but it was worth it. I would recommend having a second person to help with certain steps, but it's definitely doable with a little creativity. I love the lift top the most. I can work on the top while sitting on the couch. There is some room for storage and a couple of places for some decorative accents. i just moved into a new place and needed a coffee table that can also double as a desk/dinner table. for me, i have power tools so assembly was easy and fairly quick. Also for the price it’s way better than going to a major furniture store.

It's a decent little coffee table. Opening/closing it isn't as smooth as I thought it would be. It requires some effort to lift the lid one-handed. When you close it you also have to lower it the whole way down being careful not to pinch fingers- there's no soft-close happening here!

First, the pictographs instructions were the best I've seen or used. If you take time to carefully study the picture and work slow, even taking breaks, it's easy. I gave assembly 3 stars do to the number of parts. I was overwhelmed. But I laid out my parts, studied each picture, worked at a slow steady pace and it all came together perfect.
