These glasses actually work for me strangely, even though 2.0 magnifying does not magnify at all. So I do not get that as I have readers of 2.0 that magnify nicely. My readers drive me crazy because you’re reading, then you look up cuz someone said something to you or you’re reading a prescription bottle and look or whatever. The person you look to is pretty unviewable. I cannot deal with bifocals, the transition is ridiculous. I thought I would try these since staring at my screen can make me nauseous and my eyes hurt - so these deal with blue light. I put these glasses on and automatically I see there’s no magnification. I look at reading with them on and I realize the print seems bolder or something. I remove them and the same reading is blurred. I put them on and the unmagnified words not blurred. Then I look at my daughter 5 feet away (with the bottom reader portion) and she’s blurry (I have good distance vision without glasses). Then I look through the top portion of the lens and she is not blurry. So strange to me. So the lens throughout does not change magnification at all, but the reader portion acts like it does based on how it worked with my daughters face 5 feet away. What the reader did was take what is blurry for me at about a 1 foot and closer and just cleared it up. Worked on regular reading type and fine print. I just do not get it. But hey, ok! I gave it 4 versus 5 stars because others may not just need a clear up, but also enlarging and a clear up - and the product does say it’s at 2.0 (like my other readers). And frankly, bigger print on top of clearing it up would make reading even easier.

This package came with two pair of glasses with their own felt storage case along with one glasses chain and one cleaning cloth. These glasses are very nice, good quality, well made sturdy glasses. They have spring hinges which makes it easier to take them off and on. They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. These are the first transition lens glasses I have worn and it will take some getting used to. They are transitioned from top to the bottom over regular readers. I ordered the 2.0x because that's what my other readers are but I'm having a harder time reading with these. I don't know if the strength is a little different or if it's just because there is such a small portion at the bottom of the lens that is the readers but I definitely can't see small print as well. Hopefully I'll get used to them and all will be good or maybe I should have ordered the 2.5x. I'm not sure but I do like that I can have them on while reading a recipe and continue cooking without having to remove my glasses. I also like the blue light protection. You can see the difference between these and my old glasses while on the computer. These do dim down the light from the computer. I really do like these progressive multi focus reading glasses. I just hope my eyes can adjust so I can read better with them.

Ambitious yet well-executed. High quality frames, lenses. Excellent design. And the felt cases, microfiber cleaning cloth, and strap are nice touches. The only quality issue was the need to start bending on the nose supports right out of the box, trying to fix their odd angles and uneven heights left vs right. I'm not used to doing that for brand new frames and always worry about breaking something. Since these are progressives, I also think they should offer more advice on how to align these vertically to your face (by again, bending the nose supports?) so the right part of the lens is where it needs to be Progressives are always a bit tricky like that. It would be nice if they also offered lighter prescriptions such as +1.0 or +1.25 on the bottom. It's nice to see this type of product in the marketplace.

I got these because I needed something that I could wear to see items close up as well as items further away without having reading glasses sitting at the tip of my nose. Although these are not zero at the top, they are very handy to have for multiple distance reading and working. They are absolutely adorable. I especially like the purplish colored ones. These have become some of my go-to glasses when working on my phone, computer, and/or watching TV. Other than the fact that they're not zero at the top, these come in very handy and I absolutely love them. The only thing I would change other than having zero at the top, is having a wider variety of strengths. I usually use a 2.75 but ordered a 2.5 and I can tell the difference. Overall, I would recommend this product.

This frame is stylish and the glasses are a nice lightweight. I mean "lightweight" in a positive sense so that you can hardly tell they are on your face. NOTE ON BLUE LIGHT BLOCKING: With all glasses, "blue light blocking" is really just a yellow tint coating. Sight unseen, it's hard to determine how much yellow coating your glasses will have until they arrive. I am someone who would prefer little to NO yellow coating, but NON-blue-light-blocking are impossible to find (I've read a lot of data on light spectrum, circadian rhythm and also mood enhancement). These glasses are EXTRA blue light blocking. For some people this will be a plus, but I feel this should be included in the product description and hence 4 stars versus 5 stars. In contrast to other readers that I use, these are much more yellow. See photo for reference. This is my first set of progressive lenses. This goes is in the PLUS column for me. There is a little bit of an adjustment period and I quickly found this progressive feature to be helpful. Saves having to take glasses off an on and is probably better for my vision since I have a tendency to forget to take off my readers when multi-tasking between the digital world and the IRL world.
