They are good connectors from what I can tell. Threads are clean. Overall finish is very good. Center connector is nice and snug with good spring back. Both center pin and shell are easy to solder. I was able to solder to back side of shell with no real prep. Just used good Kester 44 rosin core solder and a hot iron. Best of all, the insulator did not melt soldering the center or shell. A little more expensive than some of the other listings but worth it based on what I saw at a local ham-fest. I bought them a second time. ... show more

Good connectors. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because they are zinc plated instead of silver plated. I needed to solder to the outside flange, but just sanded off the zinc plating and soldered to the underlying brass. Well made and very good value for the money

No complaints from me about these! Easy to mount for my radio projects, including in chassis or as a connector for homemade antennas. Able to attach my wire and solder to the center pin relatively easily, and the screw holes make for easy attachment to whatever it is I'm working on.
