If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. This is the best Amazon purchase I’ve made. It was very easy to set up, clean and add water. Within a few hours, it was full of cold ice! But BEWARE before buying. This is NOT mean to keep your ice cold. It simply makes the ice, and while it’s melting it filters back into the water part and cycles through so no water gets wasted! The ice does take a while to melt though! It is not loud at all, I can walk out my kitchen and not hear it at all! Absolutely love this product!! EDIT 01/13/2023 The ice machine stopped working. Sometime throughout the night it stopped making ice, and the water inside smelled as though it was lighter fluid. My husband feels that the motor overheated and caused it to burn. I tried to clean it and turn it off for a few days but it did nothing.

This is one ice making machine! It does exactly what it says it is going to do for you! First, the size is about that of a toaster the ones that are a little big for the big slices of bread……so keep that in mind! It is simple to use and the instructions are easy to follow! Second what ever you do when picking an ice maker make sure it has a self cleaning process! The ice cubes looks more like tiny hollow bullets! ( they are cute) the ice maker I got allows 2 different sizes small or large! I have not tried the large size because it was big enough for the glasses. Last thing is I can not believe how quiet the thing is …..it’s amazing! So a portable and quiet ice maker makes one world seem simpler and enjoyable because no matter where you go you have ice! Ohh…. It does use a lot of water and the water needs to b room temp and distilled water. Use only some kind of filtered water! Not just from the tap! The ice tastes good! Good luck and enjoy!

I had originally ordered another ice maker that never made it to my house after waiting three months. I then researched again and found this one. I can only tell you MY experience and hope that this helps you. I received it in a timely manner. I waited the time stated plus a little bit longer for it to sit before I used it. The machine is light enough to easily put on the countertop and move back and forth if need be, but I just leave mine there because it is small enough. I added water, turned it on, pushed the button for small ice (recommended on a review I read) and within 5 minutes I had ice! The noise is minimal and if I go in the other room I don't even hear it...maybe when the ice is being dropped. I did take off one point since it's not noiseless. As stated in other reviews, the ice maker ISN'T A FREEZER so you will need to put the ice in the freezer yourself or it will melt. The ice is firm but soft...not squishy. This machine is PERFECT for what I need and I can make a freezer bucket of ice in less than 30 minutes. It's super easy and convenient and I feel worth the price. I've had it over a month now with no issues and would recommend this product. I haven't used the clean button yet, but will do so soon and let you know if there are any issues. One other thing...the ice cubes do bunch together in the freezer, but I just give a little tap on the counter or with the shovel and it breaks apart easily. I hope this helps.

I received this ice maker from Amazon. The ice maker was supposably "Condition: Used - Very Good - No item damage observed during inspection. Item may not come in original packaging." Obviously, no one tested the ice maker. Registered as Ice basket full when turned on. Never made any ice. In troubleshooting "infrared light sensor does not work. Obviously, this is why it was returned. Since I live in Panama, it is cost prohibitive to return. Piece of Junk.

We’ve purchased this about a year ago and it’s still going strong. We don’t use this everyday but we do use it to fill up our ice bin in our freezer since the ice maker is broken. We use our filtered water tap to fill the tank for the best tasting ice. It does take up a decent amount of space on the counter so we typically store it when not in use (personal preference). It makes softer ice.

This product was hands down well worth its money. Be sure to check the size of the machine and how much ice it can actually hold when it’s full. If you’re looking for an ice maker that will make ice, large or small, in a short amount of time as well as not too expensive. This is for you however, if you’re in need of large amounts of ice that is available at any time. This might not be the most wise purchase. This product is great for a smaller family home, maybe a camper and definitely a dorm-like room but I wouldn’t say the same for a larger family home. Only because the ice tray does not hold as much ice for a larger family who would want ice all at once. The machine is super easy to set up and use. It is actually very quiet, the only noise it makes is when the ice falls into the tray but even that isn’t loud. The ice will melt a little bit over time and clump together but so does every other ice machine. If yours is clumping too much and or melting too quickly, it’s probably a default and you can always send it back for a replacement. I inserted a picture of what it looks like when I wake up and the ice machine stops making ice because its full but the some of the ice at the bottom has melted a little bit. I hope this helps anyone looking to buy this product. I love it.
