    • Direct replacement for OEM
Although i hate Fords fuel line connectors, this was a good direct replacement and solved the intermittent lean codes P0171/174 and rough idle. Be sure to get the 5/16 tool to disconnect the fuel lines. I hooked up the tank side first but it was still a bit of a challenge to seat the other side.

Amazon packaged this in a sleeve. It wasn’t even in the wix box when I received it from it being bounced around. Luckily and no surprise wix held up. But for the quality of the product I’d say it’s great how ever the fuel line clips it comes with didn’t fit on my Mercury grand marquis so be careful removing the clips and don’t break them ... show more

    • Save money! Save your fuel pump, it's very expensive.
Wix filters are top-rated, Just watch a few videos where filters are cut-open and inspected. Wix filters tend to have much more and better filter-media inside. My 1999 Ford truck has never showed symptoms of fuel starvation, yet after a year or more of use the used fuel filters cannot be blown-thru by mouth. When new, they hardly have any resistance to air passage. The added resistance is very difficult on the in tank $fuel pumps we use now. I had to replace the f. pump. Draining and dropping the gas-tank is no-fun. $ expensive fuel pump. MORE $$ to have done! Change this little filter often. Also, keep your tank above 1/4 full, as the $fuel-pump$ sits in the gasoline to keep cool. Yes, the truck did show fuel starvation when the fuel pump conked-out. ... show more

The replacement clips that come with this won’t fit and the original ones break from age when removing them. Just buy a motocraft brand one with the correct clips instead

    • Wrong size retainer clips
Caused damage to the fuel line because the clip is the wrong one. Compare the lock tab to your old one
