I used optical digital to connect direct from the TV. Sounds excellent. Don't use the EQ modes. Just use it at flat response. Sounds lovely. A perfect pairing with my existing speaker setup. Brings the stage to the front. I'm very happy. ***** 9/10

Took a second to figure out how to set it up, but it’s been working for the most part without a hitch with a minor hiccup here and there. Not the best quality, but for getting three of them for various rooms for under $100 total, it’s very hard to beat the price. It’s loud, quality of sound could be better. I was surprised at how big this soundbar was out of the box. I have a 50" Samsung TV. I used the HDMI (ARC) ports on my TV and the soundbar with an HDMI cable I had on hand. The sound is terrific. Pretty much just plug and play. I turned it on and selected "HDMI" on the remote. I selected the "movie" setting on the remote for the TV.
