My father's can't hold a book for long without having arthritic pain and weakness. This lap table/holder works great for him in his lift chair. The clips hold the book open and hopefully wont lose their tension. Good for giving snacks, as a table for signing documents, etc. Well made and sturdy.

It works It can adjust different angle. I use this to read bible or other big books in the bed. It is wood and has metal legs and it is heavy. Gotta be careful not to hurt myself when I close legs or put away. Legs moving easily . I did not like that part only. I hope there is some lock? To close it to put away. That is why I deduct one star. I have not used cup holder yet. The space on the table is enough for my book. But not all with pens and phone and all those I think. (I journal ) overall I’m ok with this .(have not tried other kind)

I had to send it back because it doesn't hold the weight of a large textbook in bed. When it's on a hard surface like in a chair it does hold but I got it so I could use it while I was in bed and study and it doesn't hold while you're in bed it tips over. But if you're just using it in a chair it's pretty good

It holds the book fine, but the overall finish is disappointing. There’s glue residue on the surface, and the bamboo board isn’t completely flat. Feels cheaply made.
