I ordered these to use with my better china (which has a black design on the rims), and also to use for everyday meals. I love the ruffled look of the edges, and the pattern is exquisite. The larger size is good for lasagna, casseroles, or for baking several pieces of chicken or other main courses. I think it would also work well for cakes, but I haven't tried that yet, so I don't know how easy it would be to remove the slices. That's not the reason I got them, so it doesn't worry me. I always check reviews and ratings here (thank you, Amazon) and I noticed some reviewers mentioned the smaller one was "too small" - it is indeed small, but there are plenty of uses for it, such as for sauces, celery or carrot sticks, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, or cranberry sauce. I like that it matches the larger dish, and I may even get another set if I plan meals that need that many serving pieces. Yes, I'd order these again - the pattern is gorgeous, and the pieces look more expensive than they were priced. They are dressy enough to look nice with that good china you don't use that often, and are versatile enough to be fun and interesting pieces with that "other" dinnerware you use every day. ... show more

Came in on time and as described. These are absolutely beautiful, they are easy to clean and I love them! I’ve used them multiple times already. They are so lovely on the table.. I would definitely recommend these are hanging painted such beautiful art.

These are heavy but I would rather them heavy than thin. Haven't baked in them yet but I don't think there will be a problem. Very pretty design. Size is good for casserole or three chicken breasts. The smaller one is small but I'm sure I'll find some use for it.
