I read a ton of reviews and went for it, the mat was cheap enough, right? Well... I'm in deep now, I bought 3 of them, worth every penny. I wanted something besides brown but not a "color" color so I went with chocolate and they aren't bad! I'm very happy with my purchase. I couldn't stand and stir for any length of time, my back refused to cooperate. Now I can stand there thruout something like Risotto, this mat is a lifesaver. I saw reviews talking about it was curled up- well, mine wasn't once I put it on the floor. If it was going to curl I'd think not realizing the package was outside and it sitting in 100 degree weather for 2 days would certainly cause it to curl stubbornly. It did not. The mat lays perfectly and my tile floor doesn't get the daily de rigueur nasty looks & stern words (it's like a skating rink when wet and makes work 10x harder due to the extra pain and suffering.) Note to home improvers; Do NOT use tile. You're welcome.

I can certainly tell the difference if I stand anywhere else in my kitchen of how quickly my feet and back are sore. When I clean my dishes I don't feel the pain. Perfect size for my sink area, a great cushion for a full-size/plus-size person like I am. My cat, for some reason, felt it necessary to pee on it several times so I have had to clean it multiple times and it cleaned very well and dried quickly. My cat passed away last week and now I don't have to put a protective pee pad on it and it feels even better on my feet. I'm not one to wear shoes around the house so this is great.

Bought this for my apartment back in March and it's been a life saver in the kitchen where the hard tile would normally cause my feet to ache. Mats have a decent amount of cushion and are easy to clean. Just now, an egg rolled off the counter when I wasn't looking and fell on to the mat - didn't break or crack at all. That's quality, in my opinion.
