I bought a set 2 years ago (2021) and they have held up extremely well, and work great for staying clean while camping, hiking, and backpacking. They are soft, lightweight, nice sizes and dry quickly. I DO wish they would make additional washcloth-size available separately. I hang this on my backpack strap as an all-purpose cloth to keep handy; if I ever lost it or wear it out, I'd be bummed because they are not available separately. Pretty please do a multi-color washcloth pack so I can have a spare and possibly give 1 or 2 as gifts to my backpacking friends! ... show more

I decided to give this a try, well not myself right away, but hubby. He was complaining about our camping towels being too small and not drying between uses. I purchased this based on reviews and size. My first impression was it looks like a body chamois. I was quite surprised at it's performance! Absorbent, large size and dries very quickly! I also liked the follow up by Wise Owl with suggestions on how to get the best performance from the towels. I liked the towels so much I just purchased 2 more! Multiple sizes are a plus. One for me, one for my hair. The larger size also comes with a hand towel size. I didn't find them too expensive either. Win Win here! Update: 7-27-2020 I got a chance to use the ones I purchased for myself on our last camping trip. They certainly do feel different than regular towels but they work extremely well! I bought the largest size for body and a slightly smaller size (which also comes with a washcloth size) to wrap my hair in. They are so lightweight! Love them! I also hang to dry after washing as per instructions. I'd use these at home if they came in more colors! Update Oct 2023 These have gotten a lot of use on camping trips and they still continue to perform! The finished edges are still intact, no wear areas, they dry nicely and don’t become stinky. After 3 years my only issue is the yellow tag is starting to wear off. If you are looking for a lightweight camping towel this is perfect. used this for 3 weeks straight while traveling, and it was wonderful! Super lightweight, absorbable, fast-drying, didn't ever smell bad. Halfway through the trip I acquired another towel, and at that point i used this one exclusively for my long curly hair. the bonus washcloth was nice but i didn't use it very much.
