I love the ribbon hair ties, but I lose my hair ties ALL THE TIME. Purchasing 3 for five dollars is insane! So every 5-6 years I purchase some of this ribbon and spend an hour or so cutting and tying them into hair ties. I now have an ever lasting supply of multi-colored hair ties. I can lose them, give them away, whatever. I don't care. I always have them everywhere and it's amazing! I'm rich in hair ties!!! I don't really care what colors they are so these worked fine for that purpose. In the past I have purchased individual colors or "grab bags" of colors from Etsy. The printed ones only look cool for a little while and the fabric is less stretchy... so I stick to the solid colors now. I also recently purchased a white hat while I was on vacation and my hair tie bled pink into the hat when it rained. So the next time I wore an orange tie... and it still bled pink LOL! Love having so many colors in my sewing collection. However, each one is very delicate with very little stretch. These will be great for toddler or doll clothes.

This is exactly what I was expecting. I wanted colored elastic for some craft-show sewing projects and you really do get 40 different colors. This type of elastic looks "professional", has a nice finish for those projects where the elastic is exposed. I'm very happy with it.
