  • Overall Good Quality & Satisfied
Color: silver
I have been using Apple bluetooth on all my devices for years. They are way too expensive and near perfect. This keyboard is an adequate replacement for me. the key action is not identical, this is ever so slightly less good, but I have transitioned well to the slight difference in key bounce. Looks, quality, etc. are all acceptable. My negatives are not enough to send back, but I have a few. Here are my negatives: 1) key placement decisions. - The backspace is not a dbl sz key, instead split and now is bksp and delete. This is infuriating to get used to. It destroys your typing cadence when you go to hit a quick backspace, and instead hit delete. I am slowly learning to tighten up, but BOOOO! Additionally CapsLock is small, and compressed with "A" so I am getting a ton of caps lock mistakes to correct. I am stuck with a number pad I don't use. 2) The keyboard is IR and not bluetooth. I think the battery may last longer, but I am always short on USB ports, which this requires for a small dongle. 3) There is a light that comes on that beside "[1]" ever time you type, it looks like a numlocks light and is distracting (surprising annoying) 4)The mouse that comes with the keyboard is substandard. It's fine if it were the only mouse in the world, but light and cheap. I have chosen to not use. Everything else is good. I am becoming more and more happy 2 weeks in. If you are picky about your keyboard, and use it for work. I hope you appreciate this review that gets into the little specifics. ... show more

  • TOO FLIMSY. POOR MANUFACTURING. NO QUALITY.
Color: silver
AVOID THIS CHEAP FLIMSY KEYBOARD. First apologies in advance for screaming here with a NEGATIVE product review. This keyboard is so flimsy that if you held it at one end and lifted this up horizontally the metal frame would nearly bend just from the nominal load of its light weight and gravity. Sometime you can get good to excellent quality buying off label brands. This is NOT one of those instances. The mechanical construction is badly tolerant of its own component weight and the metal was smearing aluminum stains on my exposed skin like my finger tips and hands. Aluminum residue and/or aluminum particulate that become skin borne or potentially airborne is toxic and unhealthy. The metallurgy here is too cheap. The tactile response is congruent to typing on flimsy rubber and reruns a most unpleasant feedback that is instantly annoying from the moment of just resting my hand upon this full sized keyboard. YES, this keyboard is inexpensive but the solution for me is to spend a little more money for a better built ultra slim scissor-switch silent full sized keyboard. My apologies in advance to the manufacturers and distributors of this product but sorry, you cut too many corners building this piece of essential accessory hardware. ... show more

  • Good size for laptop
Color: silver
I purchased this "compact" keyboard so it would fit in my briefcase as I traveled from home to office. The old standard size keyboard would not fit in my briefcase and would hang out. This keyboard fits perfectly with my laptop, is thin, lightweight, and has the full number pad I needed. Before I got this keyboard, I had purchased another product but had to return because the numbers on the number pad were in the order of the telephone and not that of an adding machine. This keyboard number pad is "normal" for accountants. The keyboard is somewhat quiet; if I forget to mute my phone on a conference call you can hear me type. The mouse is very silent. Because this is a compact keyboard, I have to get used to the backspace and delete buttons being very close together and not in the standard placement. I am willing to retrain myself so I do not have to walk around with a keyboard hanging out of my briefcase. This keyboard and mouse did not come with batteries. The mouse is sleek in design and comfortable. ... show more

  • Affordable and Functional
Color: silver
My first impression was that I really appreciated how minimal the packaging was--no excessive wrapping or bubble wrap, just a simple box, the keyboard and mouse packaged in little plastic, and the instructions. I didn't realize at first that the USB adapter is inside the mouse, so I freaked out for a second. Seriously so clever. As far as how they work, they seem to work fine. I'm using a Windows laptop for reference, so I am curious to see how they work on my Macbook Air. The mouse is really smooth; no skipping or lagging. I notice a very slight delay in typing for the keyboard (using it to type this review) but nothing that affects functionality at all for me. I've only just received it so I'll definitely update my review should anything change! I really appreciate the full number pad on the right, as well! A lot of wireless keyboards don't have that. I also really like how they look with my desk pad! One thing I will note is that the backspace is kinda in a weird spot, but I can see myself already getting used to it. If you're someone who may not be as proficient a typer, I might consider a different option as the backspace is really small. All in all, I think this is really good value for your money! UPDATE: who on EARTH thought it was a good idea to put the delete key ~right next to~ the backspace key? This is MADDENING and makes me want to throw my keyboard at the wall when I'm trying to backspace one word and end up deleting things that were totally fine. Knocked from 5 stars to 3 because I do really like everything else. Is there a way for me to get rid of the delete key because I never use it LOL--would definitely be 5 stars but for this stupid design flaw. ... show more
