After reading several reviews about these, I purchased a set and put them to use and relatively short order. I had a ham radio project, as well as some work around the RV, both of which involve crimp connectors. I have been using the lesser expense. I had been using some inexpensive crimpers for some time to decent results, but as soon as I switched to these, the results were dramatic. This comes with everything you need. Sometimes that is good since you're always prepared, but it is a lot to carry. It is cumbersome to carry so much along with so many other tools. All of my crimps are strong and the attachments fit flush and snug into the crimping tool. There are other tools that may crimp only one way and save you tons of space but the power and versatility of this crimping tool is awesome. I bought the 8-piece Wirefy kit and then returned it because everything is in metric increments. I then bought the haisstronica version because it looked equivalent and cheaper. Waste of time... when I got it, I immediately sent THAT back because the increments were so small I couldn't figure out if they were metric or AWG and the jaw alignment was wonky. Bought the 8-piece Wirefy kit AGAIN and have learned to deal with metric/AWG conversion in my head. Honestly, this is a truly fine piece of hardware. Very well designed (need to sell an AWG version), easy to use, and most importantly very precise when it comes to forming any kind of crimp. ... show more

Does exactly what it is supposed to, very solid and heavy metal not lightweight cheap stuff. I got this for a couple small wiring projects to use with heat shrink terminal ends and made my work turn out like a professional. Easy to use, I like the ratchet lock, once you get the terminal set and start the crimp it helps complete the job with few mistakes or wasted crimps and terminal ends. Won't release until the proper time (full crimp is completed) unless you stop and release it. Every crimp is uniform and professional, no over crimping or loose connections. ... show more
