It was nice having the slits on the side to accommodate my glasses. With the balaclava pulled up over my nose. We have had a stretch of cold and windy weather lately and I needed something light weight, warm, and comfortable to wear on my head while walking and this balaclava has been wonderful. It fits securely around my head and neck, I can easily pull it up to cover my mouth and nose and the material is easy to breathe through. It is exactly what I was looking for in head protection. I think it will also be very functional for face protection while riding my e-bike in the early and late season when the weather can be somewhat cooler. I don’t use earbuds while walking or riding bike but this balaclava has covered ear holes available for this purpose. Bought these as a gift for my Dad. He loves them and they fit his eye glasses perfectly. It fits snugly, but would be suitable for a larger head size as well. Pulling down the mouth portion is key for non windy days/not using riding equipment.
