I like painting in oils , so I bought these 12x24 canvasses, I wasn’t really paying attention when I order a cheap 12x24 canvas board. I noticed that they warped a little. So I highly reck amend these for they’re thickness. I think it’s worth the extra cost.

While I like this board, there is a weird nodule on it. It’s coming from between the back of the board and the surface. The back is completely smooth, so I don’t know how this happened. I thought that I could paint over it, but it stands out now. I’ll be purchasing more in hopes this nodule doesn’t come with the others. ... show more

A lot of artists say these canvases suck for painting as they are very thin in comparison to the thicker canvas pannels. However, I wouldn't recommend these enough to anyone looking for cheap canvas boards that work wonders. They work just as well, if not better than most "top of the line" canvases I have bought. Recently purchased from another online retailer who claimed theirs were thicker and sturdier than the competition, and best price. It was so cheaply made and flimsy. I needed a canvas. I bought this one thinking it was the same thing. It’s not. It’s thicker and wouldn’t work for the craft I was doing but I returned it and was refunded without problem
