Dog Groomer approved! I purchased a few months ago and have used this a handful of times. I needed something small for my dogs at home. I have worked in professional dog grooming shop, and while it's not as powerful as the large HV Dryers in the shop, it's way more powerful than the dryers at the pet store self service wash. This works well for my large breed double coated dogs (Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever) as well as my Boston Terrier. I have heard the high pitch noise it makes that others have mentioned, but it only happens when the hose isn't clipped into the base all the way. This was worth every penny!! I have the hardest time getting my mastiff mix dried after bathing but this is a dream! Definitely would a wear a face shield to keep the water from spraying on me. Works so quick, my dog didn’t mind the drier at all it was his first time getting one. Usually I don’t like to be with him much in the winter because it’s so cold and it’s hard to finish drying him. But this is now a total game changer I will be able to wash and so much more and get him dried so much quicker. So thankful for this product. ... show more

I don’t know why I didn’t buy one of these sooner instead of using a hairdryer this whole time. I have a 15 lb cockapoo and it does dry her hair much quicker than the hairdryer. She isn’t very fond of it, but I like it a lot because it’s not as hot as the hairdryer so I don’t worry she’s getting overheated while drying for so long. I am more comfortable as well. It dried most of her body very quickly but it took me a while the first time because she really avoided having her front legs and neck dried, even though I took care not to aim it in her face. I used the comb looking attachment for the tops of her ears, head and chest on the lower air setting and that was more bearable for her. She came out nice and dry in a much shorter amount of time. I think it will get faster as she gets more used to it. I was prepared for it to be very loud but the noise wasn’t a problem at all, it was just the force of the air that made it unpleasant for her. She’s a smaller dog so I think this wouldn’t be such a problem for bigger breeds ... show more

This is not as good as a k-9 dryer I can bet it’ll take hours to dry a full coat doodle or golden retriever. That being said if you buy this with the intents to use for professional grooming it’s great for short to medium coated dogs but keep in mind it may heat up handle when consistently running for long periods of time. Now if your intention is to use this for your fur babies at home then I have a pit mix, shiba inu and a pekingese and it gets the job done with no complaints ! Definitely worth it vs your pup still being wet after a towel dry ... show more

Makes bath day go so much faster. I can now wash and dry my american shepard in 30 minutes. I was using a human hair dryer before and it took forever. I would suggest hearing suppressors for you and a Happy Hoodie for the dog as it is loud.

I was pleasantly impressed with this little dryer. I had to groom my pup at home due to an illness and do not have a pet salon set up in my home. I needed a dryer that could fit in my bathroom but was powerful enough to dry him faster than a standard hair dryer (Standard Poodle). This dryer was very effective in drying him in a small space. The nozzles also don't fall off the hose even though they lack the normal nozzle clips the larger black dryers I've used in the past need. I'm not sure how effective it would be to groom him at home once he's full grown with his adult coat but in a pinch, this worked very well and I'm very happy with my purchase. ... show more

It is a decent dryer for the price. It only has one power setting and it blows pretty hard and loud, if your dog is not used to being dried you’d want to slowly introduce them to this dryer. The hose is pretty short so the dryer itself has to stay close to the dog, which wasn’t the greatest because it made it even louder near the dog. The attachments are small so I wouldn’t recommend for a professional groom dry, but for a small dog or my puppy it was used on it was alright. Overall a good product though. ... show more

So glad I bought this! Omg I have the fluffiest doodle ever and this made our beach vacation so much less painful to be able to blow dry him with a professional blow dryer. Comes in handy between grooming appointments. Great quality and very powerful. My groomer even approves!
