The media could not be loaded. My grandson is 13m old in the video…11m old for his adjusted age as he was born 2 months premature. He absolutely LOVES playing with this toy because, as most Montessori toys do, it can be used across several skill levels. Montessori toys have that feature in common, along with many being made of wood and being constructed exceptionally well. My grandson doesn’t differentiate shapes yet and we’ve just started teaching him how to match the shape of the 3D object to the shape of the 2D hole (the most advanced skill). So right now, he enjoys parallel play (playing along side someone vs with someone) with the independence this toy gives him. He has mastered the easiest level: pull the wooden shapes out of the parallel-placed elastics and push them back through the same side. The next level of difficulty is pulling out the wooden shapes through the crosshatch elastics and pushing them back through the same side. In the video I’m actually doing the work and showing him how to “push it” through the elastics and the sound of me saying “push it” seems to have turned on his tickle box as he laughs every time! This toy may look quite simple…it has no buttons that light up, no music that plays, no parts that pop up, and that is absolutely ok. I liked giving my children…and now my grandchild…toys that allow them to think, entertain themselves, and perhaps creatively look at a toy and use it in an unintended way instead of the toy entertaining or dazzling them. This little toy exceeded my expectations. It has my…and my grandson’s…approval!

This wooden toy sorter is very solid and sturdy. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The elastic will eventually stretch out, but so far it’s going strong and the paint is vivid and has not yet chipped. Perfect for toddlers and even preschoolers.

We've been loving this toy for around a year now! The sorting box is sturdy, perfectly smooth and has rounded corners. The strings are bright and colorful. The shapes make a nice noise when shaken, and are assorted interesting shapes. My daughter loves to sit and stack them over and over again. The only improvement would be if there were 2 sorting sides to fit all the shapes. Even with the one, I wish the spaces were used for the more simple shapes. The pentagon and hexagon both have a spot, but there's none for a square. They've been mouthed and teethed on many times, and only one shape is starting to lose a bit of paint, so they definitely hold up really well.

Oh my goodness , my one year old grandbaby loved this toy ! I was babysitting for a full week when I realized I had no toys ! I ordered this and it was a Hit ! I liked that it didn’t make a bunch of beeps and noises and he really enjoyed the challenge of figuring it out ! So cute and so well made ! I would definitely recommend it

I didn’t realize when buying this that only one side is the actual wooden puzzle side to fit the shapes through. So even though this cube comes with different shapes, it is only useful as a puzzle for 4 of the shapes - triangle, pentagon, hexagon, and circle. I’m returning and will get one with at least 2 sides of the cube that have the shape holes. Otherwise this product is great quality - the size is nice, the colors are vibrant, the shapes are also rattles which is great, the cube is well constructed.

My son loves this toy, I got this for him for Christmas at 9 months old and loved it then. He is 13 months old now and still loves this toy! It grows with him with something different to learn. Also very durable with vibrant colors.
