  • great for toddler, too loud for mama!
This is a fun toy for toddlers! I bought this for my 1 year old, and she really enjoys all the various activities on it. There is a keyboard, rolly pin, movable butterfly, flowers/bee to push/move, two horns to pull, center buttons to push, and a mini train/track (train is detachable). Additionally there are plastic keys on the side to play with. My toddler loves moving around the table and playing with each one; it keeps her quite busy. For me - it is a bit annoying because it constantly plays songs/music or lights up the keys with sounds if she is actively playing with it. There are two volume settings - loud and louder. My toddler of course enjoys the constant sounds, so I guess it is worth putting up with to keep her happy! When she has been idle from play for several minutes, it does shut off on its own. The legs are not the sturdiest, they are lighter than I expected. I keep it in front of a wall so that she cannot fall forward if putting too much weight on it and that works well. I think the price is a bit high, but it does seem comparable to the cost of other brands (fisher price, leap frog, etc... I did a lot of research into the others before settling on this). This one has many more activities than the other brands so I feel it is the best buy. Height-wise - my daughter is very tall for her age (>90th %) but she has no problem using this. She has to lean over sometimes, but she is often bending her knees and dancing as she plays with it, and moves around the table to change activities often, so the height is not an issue. The toy is super easy to assemble, just push the legs into the slots - takes one minute. I recommend this toy, and maybe some earplugs too! Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Excellent choice!
I chose this activity table as a present from my sister (who lives in a different country) to my daughter for her one-year birthday nearly 6 months ago. I settled on this one, after making several comparisons (including Fisher-Price & Leapfrog), both for the price and features, and I wasn't disappointed! I showed my sister pictures of the 2 activity tables I finally narrowed down to, and she said to get this one. She said it looks SO fun and even she (age 32) would like to play with it! As other reviewers have mentioned, the train doesn't stay on the table, but I actually prefer that way, so it doesn't restrict my daughter's play. The Alphabet Song is sung by a recorded kid's voice (not electronic animated), and I'm glad to finally find a toy that sings "Z" as "Zee" and not "Zat". We love the many features it has: - Push train engine on alphabet track and sing-along with the Alphabet Song - Free wheeling train engine - 5 note (Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So, not just random notes, like another toy we own) piano keyboard with flashing lights - Simple learning concepts - animal/color/shape identification - Train whistle, gearshift, spinner, butterfly mirror with wing that opens and closes, bumblebee glider, flower buttons that activate familiar nursery rhyme tunes, sound effects and music - Detachable legs change from stand-up activity table to floor play (easy to assemble) I also like the fact that the pictures are not stickers or stick-ons that will eventually peel with use and wipe-down. It has 2 volume settings together with the on/off switch. My daughter, who's in the top 10 percentile in height and slim (she was 82cm and 9.7kg at 15 months), has climbed atop the table several times without it toppling over, even though it is lightweight. The table reaches to just under her tummy now, still a comfortable height, I would say. As for maintenance, it says to wipe clean with a damp cloth (or wet wipe), and that's what I've been doing, but the other day, my daughter spilled water onto it, and it seemed to have seeped underneath the train track. It'll probably leave a water-mark behind. It uses 3 AA batteries, which came included, and I haven't had to change them yet. No rechargeable batteries or old/new batteries should be used though. Overall, a great activity table that will certainly engage a child and provide hours of periodic fun! ... show more

  • Great Table!
This was one at the lower end of the activity table price range, so I was a little wary. But I found a FEW reviews, here and on other sites, and though there weren't many, they were all good. I don't know why more people don't buy this table! It is very cute. I have friends with other tables, including the Leap Frog, and Fisher Price, and I think there is more to do on this table. I got this for my son when he was around 8 months old. At that point, he mainly used it to practice standing up. He loves banging on it, so many different pieces make noise. I like that it is gender neutral. It has everything from butterflies to trains. The little train always comes off (it is supposed to), but it has never gotten lost. I hope it doesn't, because he isn't really old enough to understand what it does yet. That is something else I love about this table, I can see how he will be able to use it as he gets older. The only downside to this table, is that the legs aren't as sturdy as some other tables I've seen. This was only a little bit of a problem when he was trying to pull himself up to in the very beginning. It has never fallen, but I was a little worried it might. Now that he is more skilled (and probably taller) he is able to pull up to it without any problem at all. I really like this table, I would recommend it to anyone with a little one. For the price (I paid $30), it is well worth it! ... show more
