I cellar my red wines between 55° and 65°F and that is the temperature that I like to drink them, as well. This gadget is amazing. I just keep it sitting on my bar and when I pull a bottle of red out of the cellar, I stick it in there and it keeps it at a constant temperature the whole evening. Perfect. One caveat… for me, it is not useful for white and rosé wines. The lowest temperature I believe is 41°F and I like my whites and rosé ice cold. Not a problem for me… I have ice buckets to put my white and rosé wines in. But just a note.

So far, works better than my old model (which worked okay for a couple years, until suddenly it didn't). Not sure about longevity yet obviously. Fan is not noticeable. Operation seems idiot proof. $100 is a little pricey for wine chilling, but in the summer, what price drinkability?

Don't believe the people saying the fan is loud. It's not bad at all. This thing is really cool. Pun intended. It's so cold it will fill itself with condensation so youll need a towel or rag to clean up but not bad.

My employees being employees works often let the ice melt and now we have a warm bottle of wine sitting in a tub of warm water.
