I am really really really impressed. Almost spend $170 at Safelite for a patch, figured I’d try this first. Mainly just didn’t want the chip to spread, I didn’t think it would actually fill it in along with the 4 small cracks around it but from the outside you almost can’t tell it was there. More visible from the inside but it is out of my eye sight and I’m quite pleased.

I’ve used this product a couple of times after receiving impact damage from rocks. Windshield replacement and specialty shops that repair the damage require a ton of money. This is a very affordable alternative that works fantastic. It may not remove the blemish 100% but it does such a good job that after the repair.

Rock or pebble hit my windshield driving on freeway which startled me. Minimal damage microscopic chip with small cracks. Last year it happened barely could see it, this summer noticed that I should repair the chip the cracks around started spreading. Applied and reapplied using the process and directions at least 5 to 6 time for 25 minutes each time. The small chip is microscopic after drying, I could not get rid of a tiny pin needle as well as the spider cracks 3 places were sealed. The cracks will no longer spread larger. Does an incredible job 1 inch size very tiny. Does not go completely away seals so does not spread or break windshield.

I had my doubts about this or any windshield repair product but was amazed when this completely eliminated the angel wing chip in my wife's windshield. I might post an after picture but you wouldn't see anything because the repair is undetectable. I regret not taking before photos or making a video, but I really didn't think it would work as well as it did. A few tips: 1. Repair it as soon as possible and make sure there is no dirt or water in the crack. 2. Turn on your windshield defroster to moderately warm/hot especially if it's cold out. This will help thin the resin and help it flow all the way into the cracks. 3. Line the hole in the suction cup device directly over the point of impact. This is very important and you might have to readjust it several times. Double-check it from the inside of the vehicle. 4. Make sure the suction device is very snug against the windshield. 5. Make sure you use plenty of resin. You can clean it up. Add more if you need to. 6. I didn't scrape the excess off at a 90° angle as they suggest. I used more of a 45° angle with a slicing type of motion. This left me with a completely smooth repair! After you go through all of the steps there might still be a small blemish, especially right at the point of impact, or you might have accidentally scraped some resin out of the repair. No problem, just put a drop or two on the area and put the clear curing strip over it and repeat the finishing steps. That's what I had to do. Some final things. Make sure the area is very clan before you start. I used a bottle of 90% isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth. Lastly, make sure you're curing in direct sunlight (even on a cold day) and give it extra time to cure, just to be sure. With patience you can be successful, if you are careful and use as directed the kit will work . Don't try to repair a chip larger that a dime for best results. Work in a garage out of direct sunlight until you are ready to cure the epoxy. Have the windshield warm, use a heat gun to slightly warm the area on the inside during the vacuum operation to help the fluid flow and extract air bubbles also gently tap the glass with finger tips at this step to help move bubbles from the damaged spot.. The last step use the razor blade provided scraping away from the impact hole in all directions, do not scrape across the hole it may pull out the second application of epoxy. Leave in direct sunlight to cure.

Ok so this actually worked for me. Not 100 percent but it did a decent job. On my way off from work someone a truck in front of me flung a small rock from their tire towards me. It managed to hit dead center in my field of view. A bullseye crack was created. Finally I got so annoyed with this crack being directly where I see that I decided to give this windshield repair product a try. How I wish I had take a before picture because it was MUCH more noticeable before. It was darker in color and it looked like a deep air bubble in my window. Now it’s not as visible and I’m less annoyed by it because I don’t notice it as much as when I’m driving.

Easy to use, simple, and worked well for the three small pits I had on my windshield. Kit includes enough material to do numerous cracks and pit repairs (I bought an extra kit thinking I needed one for every crack). Just follow the easy instructions and you can likely save yourself from having a bigger crack or costly windshield repair or replacement.
