This made all the difference in the world for me when I just installed rolls of faux ivy on my view fence. The leaves on the product are sparse and no matter how many layers you install, there are still gaps. I put on a single layer of faux ivy, then I attached this privacy screen over the first layer of ivy and then attached another layer of the faux ivy over the privacy screen, so that the privacy screen was sandwiched between the two layers of faux ivy and it gave me 100% coverage and privacy! Without this privacy screen, I would have had to spend a fortune on the faux ivy and probably never had the coverage I was looking for. This did the trick and saved me a bundle. I used this on a wooden fence. I zip tied it at the grommets along the sections where the 2x4’s face my side (see photo). I thumb tacked it at the sides where just boards face me. It was windy here last night and it held up fine. Im sure the thumb tacks aren’t ideal and I will find something more sturdy, but it works for now. A new neighbor moved in next door and we both have dogs. As a responsible dog mom I’m trying to be the better neighbor, so I’m taking the initiative to do what I can to block dog fighting at the fence. They let their little dog bark all day long, and they have children who sometimes tease the dogs. I have large breeds who don’t like the B.S. The madness has to stop. I bought one of these 50 foot screens to test it out. I’m a small woman and I installed this by myself yesterday morning. I had a gloriously quiet Saturday afternoon. No dogs fighting at the fence and my dogs seem calmer with it up. I’m going to buy another one to finish the remaining length of the fence line which I currently have blocked with a 30 inch high garden fence. These screens are lightweight enough to install alone and they block sight lines really well. I’m happy with my purchase.

We purchased this in hopes it would help with a huge German Shepard problem we have with our neighbors. We have three full grown German SHepards living next door to us that spend 100% of their in the backyard trying to get to our dogs by running and barking ferrociously along our fence line and trying to get their mouths in between or under the fence panels. We went from a four foot chain link up to a 6 foot chain link and then ordered several of these privacy screens to attach to it. It has worked great! It has not only greatly improved the view in our backyard by blocking out the neighbors yard but also has reduced the barking running along the fenceline by our neighbors dogs. They have now moved to the one area that is not covered so I will be ordering another fifty feet to finish the shared fenceline as well. We did put a double layer of this screen up though after putting the first layer up and relaizing we still were not getting as much privacy as we wanted. With two layer, you have to be right on top of it, peering through to get a view and even then it is difficult. We are extremely happy with this purchase and the quick delivery, has completly changed the mood of our backyard!!

Amazing quality and looks awesome. Our home is right next to a golf course with a chain linked fence. This added the privacy we needed while saving money by keeping the existing fence. It was easy to install and has held up well so far. During California summers and winter so far. Ranging from 120 degrees F to 40 degrees and 45 mph winds. No signs of ripping or fading, we are very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: Unfortunately, our home was victim to a wild fire which started behind our home. Thankfully these heavy duty screening helped keep the fire out and slow it down. These screenings with the help of my husbands landscape setup and concrete walls saved our home from fire damage. First order of (4) were melted so we're putting in our order for (4) more now! As much as we loved them before the fire, we love them even more!

I bought three of these and have only installed one so far. Having two people is helpful to keep it taught, but it's not necessary. The grommets do not line up perfectly with the chain link fencing, but with some creative zip tie technique, it works just fine. The material is strong, it seems to be a very good quality. I read a lot of reviews on zip ties and I would say, it would be worth spending the extra money on a quality zip tie to keep this up. As for the see-through factor--it's not opaque of course. You can see through it, but more shapes unless you get up closer. I'm very happy with it and looking forward to installing the other two and likely purchasing another two.

I'm a crazy dog lady with multiple dogs who enjoy my back yard. With the stay at home orders recently, my neighbor has been working non stop on his garden and landscaping. My dogs think it is their duty to bark at this dangerous intruder on the other side of the fence. They even try to dig under the fence to get at him (to get pets and cuddles I think, but....). Replacing the chain link fence with a privacy fence was too pricey, so I tried this screen. tho' one can vaguely see movement or shadows on the other side of the fence, it blocks any clear view. The dogs learned that if they backed up about 25 feet, they could still see the neighbor's back yard, but it was boring for them, and they might bark briefly but quickly lost interest. I am sure my neighbors appreciate being able to enjoy their zen garden in peace and quiet. I know I do.
