Absolutely Outstanding. We are using our ivy privacy and wind screen as a temporary and portable privacy screen for the balcony and patio area of our apartment. We draped it over a rolling clothes rack that features side bar extensions and adjusts in and out for width and up and down for top rod height. We've draped the ivy screen over the top of the rod and are thereby able to easily raise and lower the height of our spiffy-instant-ivy-hedge as needed. We were a little worried about the weight of the product and the overall drape-a-bility. But were pleased to find that it's very light weight and flexible -- and that those qualities don't come at the expense of overall durability. The backing appears to provide excellent support for the connected panels and the overall effect has exceeded our expectations in terms of see-through-ness. We were also a little concerned that it might smell plastic-y, but it doesn't. I'm uploading images of how we've got it set up as I think others might be interested in using it as a portable screen for both indoor -- room dividing purposes as well as having a portable way to camouflage and screen off either indoor or outdoor areas that aren't visually appealing. We considered a variety of indoor and outdoor multi-paneled folding screens and none were going to be less than between $150 and $200. And then we weren't going to be able to adjust the height of those fixed panels. We have about 12' in width to screen and therefore, any multi-paneled folding screen would be heavy and possibly unweildy and I was also concerned about the panel style blowing over in windy conditions and worse, that the gaps in between the hinged parts of those style screens would lessen the privacy we wanted. We unrolled the screen and simply draped it over the top bar of a rolling clothes rack as we want to be able to move it easily indoors as well as shift the position outdoors based on where we're sitting on the patio. If we're primarily sitting down on the patio, we don't want or need a 6' privacy screen as we want to be able to see sky and not feel closed in. And when we're indoors and using it inside, we need it taller as a 4' screen height would only offer privacy below waist-height. The rolling, adjustable height clothes rack allows us to easily adjust the height of our privacy screen and that allows us to have natural light into the apartment and leave the blinds to the sliding door open -- as the draped ivy fabric only blocks light from the top of the adjustable clothes rod down and we can see outside to the sky and trees -- without also looking directly into our neighbor's apartment across the way. I wish the leaves were a little variegated and/or that some of them were lighter in color than the others ... or that there was an option for a lighter and brighter green color generally, but that's a very minor issue as the dark green is pleasing and is close to what actual English ivy looks like when it's growing wild. In fact, the darker, solid shade of green is probably better over the long term and will likely hold up well in terms of fading in the SoCal sun. I'm a gardener and am generally picky when it comes to fake flowers and imitation greenery. I was therefore a little concerned about one reviewer's complaint that it looked cheap and fake. The purpose of the thing is to provide more or less solid visual blocking of whatever's behind it. In order to do that, the leaves are attached in a uniform grid pattern with straight rows and this means that there aren't gaps and you don't really see the fabric backing unless you're within a few feet of the product. Having an opaque, gap-free, three dimensional surface is much more important than having random and somewhat more realistic placement of the leaves on the fabric backing. I disagree that it looks cheap and while for our use and purpose, no one's going to think it's an actual hedge (especially if they see us rolling it around and adjusting the height!), it's visually better than adequate and superior in terms of how well it prevents others from seeing into our apartment and blocks our view of them and the inside of their apartment. If you are interested in duplicating our set up, we purchased the rolling clothes rack on Amazon as well and selected the Songmics Adjustable Garment Rack Rolling Clothing Rack Portable Hanging Rack with Brake Wheels ULLR01L. We picked that one because it has adjustable upper bar arms on either side to extend the width of the upper rack-bar up to 60" wide. And it is also adjustable up and down from about 4' up to 66" tall. Finally, two of the wheels can be locked so as to prevent our ivy screen from rolling around too much if it's really windy. The cost of the rack and screen combined was about $80 and there's no way we could duplicate the coverage, flexibility and convenience that this system affords us for less and I don't think there was a better way to accomplish what we wanted to do for even hundreds more. We are 100% satisfied and look forward to relaxing on our now-private balcony.

This windscreen was what we needed to cover a 16 foot area of fence by the pool. It looks much better than a plain screen, and was easy to install with cable ties. The leaves look pretty realistic from a few feet away. They are closely packed and attached to a sturdy plastic grid which is backed by a heavy screen fabric. It gives complete privacy. We were able to order the exact length we needed, too. For the price, it seems like a good product. Update: After a year in the direct sun and all types of weather, the screen has held up very well. Very little fading and none of the leaves have come off. Definitely worth the purchase.

Bought four of these for privacy from the neighbor and his annoying dogs. I have a six foot galvanized steel fence with two horizontal rails. This fits very well with that fence, supported by both the top and bottom rail. I did not need to cover the bottom few inches on that portion of fence, but the seller included some extra patches for such a purpose, I believe. I thought this would keep the neighbor's annoying dog from barking, and though it is far away, it still senses presence and movement in my own yard, so it is not entirely effective on that front. At least I don't have to look at it. The plastic grid has little guide holes along all edges, every few inches, to hang with 8" cable ties (longer ties are needed to attach to the larger fence posts). A few strategically placed ties along several spots in the middle will keep it from billowing in the wind. To fasten those in the middle, it is easier to go to the back of the fence and loop/secure them around the plastic grid and fence. Of the four, about four sets of leaves fell off. Note they are fastened with a little plastic star. I am a little unsure of how well they will all remain fixed over time. You probably don't want little children playing with them or they may pluck the leaves. I think you could staple them back to the grid. But if I lose leaves due to the elements, I will update and downgrade this review. I called the seller before ordering and he said it was fully opaque, and that is not exactly true. There is a plastic grid, a fabric-like backing panel which is maybe 50% opaque at best, and the leaves themselves which are fully opaque. All you can really see from a distance are small scattered patches of light coming between the leaves. Day or night though it is nearly impossible to distinguish much through the screen, but it is not 100% opaque. Someone standing right next to the screen can certainly find a patch to see through, so this solution may not suit everyone's needs depending on the placement of the fence relative to what is on the other side. The other downside to this is the rather non-random pattern of the leaves, because they are affixed to the backing along a rectangular grid, as is apparent from one of the photos. If you stare at it too long, it may not look too natural, but for a quick casual look it could pass as natural. If you have something in front of the panel to break up the view (shrubs, trees, etc.), that is even better. Note that the other side of the fence will look similar a privacy screen behind your fence--leaves do not appear on both sides. The seller shipped and delivered this very quickly--I think it arrived within 2-3 days of ordering by FedEx. Update: After one year, no issues with rapid discoloration or disappearing leaves (though I found one or two). In my application, it does a great job of appearing real until I point it out to people that it is fake. From a distance, of course. Year 2 update: No issues. Maybe I saw one leaf in the yard. Definitely some fading occurred, but still provides a semi-natural look and provides the desired privacy. If I didn't mention it already, the back side will reveal the grid, so it won't look as pleasant as the side with the leaves. If you need a good appearance on both sides, you may need to consider buying for both sides of your fence. In my case, that was not required. Year 3 update: Fading is definitely more noticeable now, compared to when new, but still does the job, and have not seen more than one leaf loose. It is far back in my back yard, so the fading is a non-issue for me. During a very strong thunderstorm this winter it pulled a panel halfway off and broke the ribs I had used, so I had to reattach them. I'm considering planting some dense trees in front of these, so I hope that for the next few years these will continue to serve the purpose until the trees mature. End of year 3. These definitely have a finite lifespan, as another summer has caused more fading and some missing leaves. It is still good for another few years. But most importantly, I need to point out that all the sections of black iron/steel fencing have begun to rust and literally deteriorating completely on the bottom. I imagine this started awhile ago, but it is only because my spouse was doing some work in that section of the yard when she noticed the damage. The only thing that makes sense is that these collect moisture and retain it much longer than the fence would have to deal with otherwise. So it is clear that I'm going to have to replace about 50' of fencing at some point when I remove these. Now we are going to plant a row of rose bushes to provide the privacy that these are giving us.

First, let me say that I had researched this brand and similar brands for months! I live in an apartment on the second floor (top floor). My apartment is located at the end of a building and is on the main road of the complex. I was feeling a bit exposed while sitting on my balcony. I wanted to create some privacy but also wanted to make sure to still have a pleasant aesthetic. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase! I love the backing to this product! It provides shade and privacy! However, it can easily be removed to provide a natural look. The spacing of the leaves is second to none! It looks so natural! Per the pics provided, I used the product with the backing and without. Both are just beautiful! Although I wish this product was sold with green zip ties, I was able to purchase what I needed for $8.00 at my local hardware store. Green zip ties are readily available. The leaves have a slight shine to them and look quite natural! I’m so impressed! I have planters, on my balcony, that also have privacy screens. I was able to easily remove the backing for this particular use. The leaves are well placed and still provide privacy without the backing. This was a fantastic value and I’m very pleased!!!!

PROS Product was delivered quickly and as ordered. Reasonably priced. Color of leaves fairly natural. Yes they are flat when freshly unrolled but they loosen up nicely. Blended fairly well with existing ivy on ground by 4' black aluminum fence. Natural looking if viewed from more than 8 feet or so. Good blockage for privacy. Would need to use a double layer for better privacy. Easy to install with zip ties. Initial impression is that the product is fairly sturdy. The leaves are affixed to a black mesh fabric similar to weed block with a looser weave. The mesh is attached to a green plastic grid with squares roughly 2x2". Did not lose any leaves during installation. Severe thunderstorm came through during installation and no leaves lost with 30 mph wind gusts. CONS Does not provide 100% privacy. From close distance there are gaps that can be seen through. Solution would be to double up. This would obviously be necessary anyway on an aluminum fence as the leaves are on one side only. Did not come with any zip ties included. had to buy at HD for $6 / 100. Looks artificial from inside 8' or so. More natural looking if there are adjacent live plants. Will follow up with report on long term durability including leaf loss, tearing, fading etc. All in all very good first impression, good value. One year update: Great durability, no change in appearance despite record cold, wind, rain, snow and sun exposure. No leaves lost. Looking for places to put some more. Swimming in privacy :) Very satisfied.

I 2007 I purchased some faux ivy to cover a back fence. The ivy was very real looking because it had leaves of varying color and shoots of different lengths. I tried to find more of that, but unfortunately the supplier that sold it does not carry it any longer. I searched for it but was unable to find it. I finally settled on this product. I purchased several of these and several of the "58.5''tall X 97.5" Long Artificial Ivy Leaf Privacy Fence Screen Decoration Panels Windscreen Patio" from the same supplier to cover an 8' tall fence. What I like about the product is the mesh screen backing. I provides a much better wind screen and masks the underlying surface very well. (With the other product I used some camo screen to accomplish the same thing). What I do not like about this product is that it is very artificial looking. All the leaves are the same color and are matted to the grid in an unnatural manner. I tried "fluffing" them with my hand and that helped some, but it still looks artificial. I am now waiting for some other ivy (English Ivy Silk Greenery Wedding Garland) to add to some Ivy sprigs purchased from a local florist supply. Once I receive them I will attach them over the top of the faux ivy screen. I believe that will allow me to achieve my desired look. It is amazing to me that a more realistic product is not offered. This one comes close to being acceptable. With a bit more uneven coloring and some "new growth sprigs", it would be great.

This was perfect! It gave us much needed privacy between houses until the bushes grow up, and looks so much better than the fence. My husband installed each 13’ panel in about 30m each. We went with the one-sided option, but it doesn’t look bad on the other side. We are moving to the house next-door so we got a chance to see it from both sides and I really wish we had had this when we were at the other house so we were not constantly looking in their window at dinner! As others have said, it doesn’t look completely real up close but from a distance it looks just fine and blends with our other landscaping. It’s not completely opaque, you can see through a little, but you can’t make out much. I also liked that it was ready to install right out of the box. There was no need for adjusting the leaves like you do a fake Christmas tree. We love it and are purchasing several more panels to complete the fence.
