- FAST AND EASY SETTING Toss it in anywhere and anyhow and it will set quickly and effortlessly. No need to back down the anchor. So whether you are setting it in the sand, mud, weeds this anchor will set efficiently. When setting just make sure you have enough anchor rope for the depth to keep the retrieval bar at less than a 45 degree angle. So if you are setting in 100ft of water, you will need at least 150ft of line.
- EASY RETRIEVAL Simply pull up the anchor line until the boat is directly above the anchor. This will cause the retrieval bar to go straight up and the anchor will come free. Since we dont need any heavy chain it is much easier to retrieve. If setting in mud it can collect some, so you may need to dunk it a few times to clean it off before bringing it aboard.
- SECURELY IN PLACE Unlike our competitors we fully weld the retrieval bar onto the anchor. This ensures that no matter what, the anchor wont come apart when deployed. Beyond the fully welded retrieval bar, we also put split rings onto the Y holder, so it doesnt matter what side lands down underwater, it wont accidently collapse. Feel secure that your cube anchor wont let you down at anchor.
- COMPACT STORAGE Simply pull out the Y connector (you only need to do 1 side) and the anchor will store in a fairly flat, straight, compact manor. This makes it easy to store under seat cushions or other storage areas in your boat.

Great Design; Great Build Quality. I'm using it to hold a 10 x 10 floating dock in place on a small lake (westerly wind bursts have pushed the dock eastward at times). It's been in place several days and there does not seem to be any movement of the anchor in the silty lake bottom.

I got the 13lb for my 19.5' boat. I like that I don't have to set it, and I like the padded case it comes in. It can be a little finicky to fold back up when wet, and while it holds my boat well in lakes and rivers with a soft mucky bottom, I would size up if I were to do it again as higher winds and chop can start us drifting. Still easier to toss to set in soft lake bottoms vs our regular anchor.

The hinges had locking wires holding the hinge pin in. Some of them were sticking out that could scratch. I would be concerned that the pins could come out. Also there are “o” wire rings that are used to hold the cross bar in place. Kind of a pain to put on and take off to open and close the anchor. The anchor did hold my boat immediately though when I tried it today. 25 foot bow rider. Have had a tough time using the danforth anchor that came with the boat. Was amazed at how easy the box anchor worked. It is heavy to pull up but worth the weight.

This box anchor is great, however, is quite heavy, specially when caked with mud if feels like 50 lbs. If you have bad back or shoulder, get something else! Oohh, is best to keep it deployed, due to be hard to open and fold back down… Hope this helps
