This is a really great awning. Lightweight but strong steel frame and as a small guy I was able to hold it up with one hand, and level and pencil in the drill marks with the other. It comes with expansion bolts for brick but I used toggle bolts with my old masonite siding. The mounting holes are big so pick up some fender washers if you go that way. It was easy to hold up and pop in the toggles so installation was a breeze all by myself. At first I thought that sea foam green was an unusual color underside but I like it now that it's up. It's like an aluminum reinforced membrane fused to the typical asphalt shingle material on top so it's super sturdy. The only minor negative is there's about a half inch gap from the roof panel to the wall. It comes with plenty of easy to apply and no mess to the hands tarring goo but it would have gone much slicker if the panels were snug to the wall. I'm curious how it'll hold up because it seems water based, but topping it off with real stuff is a no brainer if necessary. It's also designed to overlap so I'm ordering two more for either side. This is strong enough to hold up any amount of snow with a few flocks of turkeys nesting on top as long as it's properly mounted to your wall.

Heavy duty and looks good, but I received 2 left hand brackets instead of 1 left and 1 right as shown in the pictures. I installed it anyways. The provided self tapping screws are a little short for certain areas so I used longer screws where necessary

This is a solid fairly heavyweight design, hoping it stands up well to New England snow. I had to replace all the hardware that came with it. The weight of the frame alone pulled the expansion bolts out of the wall. Bought some thick 3 inch lag bolts. Then the self drilling screws weren’t long enough to go through two layers of the roofing so I bought longer ones. Pretty solid with those additions.

Not what was expected. It says metal that will withstand high winds, BUT this is not the case in my opinion. The frame seemed solid, but the panels were not. They would be nice in a no-wind area.

This came packaged nicely. The roof panels were bent on the corners but bend back easily. I was able to assemble the frame and hold it up to mark the pilot holes alone. I had help so I could lag this to my shed. Once mounted attaching the panels was way also. I just need to seal the gap between the awning and the shed to make it water tight. Over all a good awning for the price
