It collapsed just sitting there. Maybe if you're going to put legs at an angle don't make them out of particle board so they're strong enough to hold the screws. Both back legs just snapped off the screws. I would not recommend this.

Nice little table with hidden storage. Really enjoy the modern look. Only thing I wish it had was plugs for the screws go to cover up the head of the screw. Other than that the table gives the living room a nice touch.

I got this coffee table because my wife and I don't really have a dining room and we usually eat in the living room. Very great concept of a coffee table for multi use. Before purchasing if you suck at instructions do not get this item. My wife usually tells me the instructions as I build, but this time it took us about an hour to assemble this. The instructions are literally just pictures with arrows which seems easy enough to follow but it doesn't tell you which wood piece side is which. We just assumed and hoped for the best and it came out how it was supposed to. Another downside is whenever we lift the top we can hear the loud spring.     • Assembly is a pain
I do not know how long it will last but the assembly is a nightmare. I have put together many things in 60 years, I have every fancy screwdriver, flex end, bit size and this was one of the most difficult things I have ver assembled. One note: Screw hinge to top first, then get a helper to hold open the top while attaching hinge to sides of units. I fully expect to end up bolting the top to the sides instead of those tiny 1/2" x #6 screws. NO sticky wood colored covers included for the exposed screws - that would have cost VERY little to include. ADDITIONAL: Leg broke after 2 days ... show more

I got this table for my mom, and she was very unhappy because the table looked flawed, damaged and scratched around the corners and surfaces. The pictures included don’t show it well because of the light reflection, but it definitely does not feel good paying full price for an item that was damaged and looks used. ... show more

I like this table but I don't like the process of putting it together. The instructions are clear but the ability to get IN the table to put the top on is probably a 2 person job but I live alone and struggled a bit. I'm hoping the springs loosen up a little bit because it's very hard to raise the table at this point but it's also new. If it continues to be stiff, I will just spray a lil WD40. Absolutely love this coffee table. i do wish that it was a little easier to raise and lower, maybe handles or something, but it really is not hard to open and shut at all and I am sure it is more pleasing to the eyes without handles. it was fairly easy to assemble and was pretty quick process as well. it looks great in my living room. and i love the storage area inside where i can hide things.
