I washed two of the tips for the first time and put them in the dish drainer like always. I’ve never seen this happen so quickly with cake tips and I’ve been a decorator for a long time. They tested in the dish drainer for about two hours and when I came back to towel dry and put the dishes away they had already started rusting. Wilton is a pretty decent brand for beginner home bakers so this may have just been a fluke but it’s definitely something to consider

I decided to pick up cake decorating after watching a bunch of baking/dessert making shows and looking at a ton of cool cakes on social media. I grabbed this thinking it'd be a good beginner set to try out the things I've seen, but I think these tips are on the smaller side compared to what I expected. That makes them great for intricate decorations, but not for doing a glorious swirl on top of a cupcake. That said, I love the case they come in and how easy it is to just throw the whole shebang in the dishwasher. I also like the variety. I just need some bigger tips.

This is my first time every trying to make something like this and I think it went pretty darn well! Great kit in my book! I didn’t catch this from the description but you can just put all the tips back in the container and put the whole thing in the dishwasher! The case and tips are pretty small and fit great in my baking drawer. If I where to change anything I wish they made taller flowers but for the price I’m super satisfied! I used these in piping bags with no connectors and no problem.

This was my first time frosting anything like this and after several YouTube tutorials and this set I was able to achieve this. This is definitely something that needs practice but great starter kit overall.

They are nice. I didn't realize they are all smaller ones than I thought. I really just wanted larger tips to pipe on cupcakes. That's my own mistake, but by the look of it I thought it would be a variety of what I thought was regular size. I am not really a cake decorator though and didn't know any better until I went to use it for cupcakes and figured out that they are too small for that unless you are going to do flowers or something more detailed. Anyway, nothing wrong with the product, just double check which size tips you need.

I am just a home mom right now because of the pandemic, this is my first decorating tip purchase, and they are great, you don’t even need the adapters to work with them, they fit perfectly on the bags, you just cut the bag where you need it. And I really like the box, even though its for dishwashers, I prefer to wash them by hand, but I Love that they are organized, I even bought one more and there is room for two extra ones!!!
