  • good product
Why did you pick this product vs others?: good product and sturdy, did the job during my Betty Crocker phase during which I had to have each and every piece possible.

  • Easy to install and holds lids with knobs or handles
Recently bought this lid organizer, and I love it so far. Here are a few of the things I like: 1. It's very easy to install. Hardware is included for mounting into either drywall or studs, and there's even an extra screw/anchor of each kind. 2. It holds lids with either knobs or handles. A lot of other lid organizers don't do well with handles, but this one works well for both. 3. It works especially well for large lids (12"). This is perfect for me, because most of pans I use are 10–12". (In the attached picture, the top two lids are both 12" and the bottom one is 10".) 4. The only potential downside is that the top lid holder only holds large lids (10" or larger) or else the lid will slip out. Also, lids that are 6" or smaller don't fit very well in the main lid holders. However, there's a narrow bar behind the top lid holder that works great for really small lids (see other attached picture). This means that you can really fit 8 lids (4 in each organizer) instead of just 6. ... show more

  • Functions moderately well. Could use more flexibility
Nice and sturdy build. Non-rust. Easy installation. Holds large pot lids well. Does not accommodate non-oval shapes. Not sure if within this price ask you could design a more extended version. I put these on the inside of cabinet doors, but also had to allow for the protruding pot lids once door shut against pots on the shelves. The vertical design is good, but a horizontal version would allow for other format configurations. The inset horizontal bar for smaller lids is good. Would have been better to allow more than one per set. ... show more

  • Very sturdy, easy to hang with all hardware. Perfect fit!
These came with both long and short screws as well as wall anchors to fit any type of installation. I used the short screws on my cabinet doors. It was so easy! I just power drilled them in and done! The racks are both very sturdy and designed to fit well in cabinet space, allowing for large lids and closure. I fit 13" large lid with plenty of room. Lids don't fall out the bottom or roll around when the door is moved. I fit all 9 of my skillet and pot lids on these 2 racks, without being jammed together. Easy to remove and restock. Would purchase again. So much better than stacking them on the shelf!! I love these. ... show more

  • Not a good design for lids with handles
My Wolfgang Puck pots have lids with handles not knobs and these lids don't fit and hold in these holders. I was going to install them on the cabinet's doors but there's too much risk with the movement of the lids. I also would need to find shorter screws if I was to mount to the door (no big deal). I ended up mounting one inside the cabinet. Three lids don't fit well as the largest lid on the top makes it a tight fit for the middle lid. Also the handles push against the lids making it a pain to grab one -- I must watch that the others don't fall. Maybe it works better with lids that have knobs. Besides the design flaw, it is quality-made. I'm just not liking it for my needs. I had better luck with a magazine rack I jerry-rigged in my last house (now I wish i took it with me). ... show more

  • Excellent rack, Super easy to install.
I installed this setup about two months ago and am SO happy that i did. Trying to find a matching lid has always been a bit of a struggle in my kitchen. we have plenty of cabinets but finding matching stuff in low cabinets can be a problem. I solved this by mounting these on the side of my refrigerator, which stands next to my range. Now all of my lids are immediately available and sorted by size and how often i use them. I dont know why i didn't use this years ago. The unit is super simple to install. Use a level and hold them against the wall in the desired position and use a marker to mark the drill points through the holes. You can use a little duct tape to temporarily hold the frame to the wall and mark the locations. Remove the racks / tape and drill your holes and insert the included drywall screws if needed (I was going into metal so i didn't need them). Re-mount the racks to the wall with the tape to hold in place securely while you work. Install the screws and you're done. ... show more

  • Great Organizers
I looked at several different styles of models before I selected this one. I like it because it doesn't take up a lot of space. There are two racks and you can put them side-by-side, or one above the other, or in two different locations like one on the wall and one on a cupboard door. The organization that it brings is wonderful. Previously, my lids were stationed behind the pots, standing up on an edge, trying to keep them out of the way so I could nest my pots and gain more storage space with this strategy. But every time I took a pot out, whether I needed the lid or not, they came tumbling down, making all sorts of noise, and in general being a nuisance. Now all of the lids are in the racks, up out of the way but highly accessible. Oh, and I don't have to sort through the lids any more trying to find the correct size for the pot I was about to use. These racks are very useful and helpful. ... show more

  • Tricky but worth it
I was planning to install these directly to a wall, so the lids would be next to my hanging pot rack, but unfortunately in a cinder block house that was going to cause a lot of headaches. So I decided the next best thing would be to put them on the cabinets above the stove, so they would still be handy. Since my lids are bigger than those cabinets, I installed them on the outside of the cabinets. These racks would fit on most cabinet doors, but the ones I have over my stove were just a tiny bit too small to have the racks fit directly onto the doors. I trimmed small pieces of wood for extra support, glued them to the doors, and after painting them to match the cabinets, used my own screws to attach them. The ones that came with the racks might be enough, but I wanted to add nuts to make them extra secure, as some of my pot lids are pretty big. Any 3/16" diameter screws should work. I like the end result, and for the price you can't beat it. No more searching through floor-level cabinets for the right size lid. ... show more
