The bottle design really works for writing on baked goods, no need to transfer to special gear unless you want particular designs. The black is so black it has a slight blue tint, perfect for making spiders or bugs to decorate with. Recommend this item!

Tasted like cookie icing, and was pretty easy to use. I don't recommend heating up the bottle as the instructions say because even without doing that the icing is very runny (anything with a lot of black food dye can do that though, so I expected that). It is a little oo runny for details, like eyes or cat whiskers so I added a little powdered sugar and a couple black gel color drops and it was perfect, let it dry for a couple hours to be in the safe side.     • A Runny Mess
This product is very difficult to use. It runs all over and drips off of the cookies. I stained the table, my clothes, and a rug from it. Iโ€™ve used brands that were far easier. I had to order another brand to finish my cookie decorating. The only color that doesnโ€™t drip and run is the white.
