**Updated Review** Had this set for over a year now and they are holding up great! Hit thousands of balls at the range so far with all the clubs and played dozens of rounds. My game improved significantly, but my skills are still nowhere near at utilizing more expensive clubs. I worked my way down from a 30 handicap to a 20 and I feel I can get to under 15 before I really need to upgrade the driver, putter, etc. Overall, a great value set for the money and I highly recommend it for any beginner/budget golfer. **Original Post** I am a complete beginner and don’t have the skills to utilize expensive set of clubs. I have only used these clubs at the driving range and hit a couple hundred practice balls. I am really impressed with the initial quality and how they feel in hand. I hit drivers from Calloway and TaylorMade, so the driver provided in this set doesn’t feel great, but gets the job done for the price. The wood and hybrid feel great, but irons are my favorite, and the putter is more than decent. The bag is good quality with lots of storage. You can’t go wrong with this set at this price point. I will update this post as i get more rounds in and see how the clubs hold up, but happy with the purchase so far.

I started playing golf a few months ago and honestly, these have been really good clubs that can be compared with the more expensive brands. (with what knowledge I have that is) I've gone to the driving range twice and have played more than 10 games so far. I haven't experienced any issues with the clubs or the bag. Some things to note - Overall quality seems good, but there are some visual issues like the milling but nothing that has truly affected how the clubs work. - I haven't seen any bending or warping on the clubs after 10 games and 2 driving range days - No issues with the bag, well made and has plenty of pockets for everything you need. All in all, great clubs for the price! They are well made and if you are looking into golfing and want to get a good set these are not a bad choice.

I bought this Ultra Plus Set "like new" for around $215 & compared to a Strata 14 piece set priced around $499. 1) Quality of bag & clubs & features IS very similar for both sets. 2) Strata has a 2 yr warranty. Wilson a 1yr warranty. 3) Strata has a rainfly & slightly nicer 3 covers because of knitted bottom finish. 4) Weighting & design of clubs also very similar. The Strata driver regular length 45" is about .75 inches longer than the Wilson Driver. However, some of the Wilsons are a tad longer like the Fairway 3...? Might want to check those specs if a .40-.75 variance matters to you. 5) For the price difference on similar quality the Wilson Ultra Plus seemed the better value to me. Both are suitable for beginners to occasional recreational golfers with higher handicaps,

These clubs aren’t going to wow anyone on the golf course or give you that extra edge against the rest of the group but they are forgiving and a great starter set. I’ve planned over a dozen times so far this year as well as plenty of time on the driving range and they have held up just fine.

I got this for my husband to start trying out golf. He has had them a few years now and they have held up really well. I think they are awesome for the price to start out. As you get better I’m sure you switch them out here and there for ones you feel like for better or work better for you but until then I think they work really good.

I purchased this club set several months ago (June 2020) and initially considered them a good find, giving it 4 stars. It wasn't until the last month or so I noticed a significant defect with the iron set. While at the driving range I was hitting the pitching wedge and the head went flying off! It caught me totally by surprise and I had no idea what caused it to happen. The club head broke clean off the shaft. After checking my other clubs, I found the irons all started to show a 'bend' in the neck of the club (see pics). Also to note, I don't ground my clubs. I submitted a warranty claim with Wilson, as Amazon does not handle any return/repair with this item, and Wilson only offered up a $30 dollar voucher. I asked if the clubs could be refunded and they stated a $30 voucher is the most they could do. They didn't even offer to replace the club that was broken or the ones starting to break. Needless to say, customer service on these clubs was extremely disappointing. I perceived Wilson to be a better sporting good company but this product, and the customer service, has turned me away from future purchases. If you're going to spend money of a set of clubs these aren't worth their price tag. Maybe try a different company with similar product and price.

TLDR: Outstanding set of clubs for $300, the few cons are superficial. Got this set of clubs as a way to get back into golf after years out. After a few rounds and about 500 balls at the range they preformed much better than expected. No issues with durability or denting on the driver like some people said on here. You would dent any driver with a bad swing so it might aswell be a cheap one while you learn. Only real cons are that the head covers are really cheap and difficult to put on and that the legs on the stands are kinda flimsy. As long as you treat the bag with care they should hold up though. Long story short, these are great starter clubs while you learn/get back into playing.
