I bought this for my son 12 years old as a birthday present. He is 4'11" and we went with large size in the hope he gets a couple seasons out of them. A little on the large size, but he seems to grow another inch every couple months, and for now he just chokes down a little on the clubs. He is a beginner with some camp experience and lessons under the belt. I've seen him hit the driver over 100 yards, and the irons and wedges are pretty forgiving.
