LOVE my new kayak! Had my maiden voyage this weekend. Room for my dog, stable, tracks great, comfortable seat and all around dreamy on our local lake. I look forward to getting it fully rigged for fishing. It's the perfect size for me to manage loading and unloading myself. I got a ceiling hanger and lower it onto my car. Easy to get up loading from the back with a cradle style roofrack. (Had to return a J rack, too hard to load) I love the rail system and ordered all the accessories for fishing and tie downs. The media could not be loaded. Bad mold super thin plastic on side for right foot which is cause by bad production and quality control not acceptable at all. When you sit in it the right foot support has zero structural support compared to left side. Make one wonder if companies send bad defective product to Amazon on purpose as build date on items certificate was 1/1/23 and this order was placed 8/16/25 which means Amazon is currenly shipping 2 1/2 year old product out so this is not current build they are selling!. At $1000 price tag this is no good. FAIL FAIL FAIL! Amazon would not replace as they upped pricing so this will be ruturened and everything i bought to go with it! ... show more

    • Great Kayak but the straps
I love the kayak but the straps dry rotted in less than a year. They did replace them, but they are the same straps so I don't think they will last. The seat material must be delicious as something ate thru it in our community boat yard. I have had other kayaks, other Wilderness kayaks, but this new gray strapping is just not up to Wilderness quality. I use it in the ocean one or two times in the summer and in fresh water lakes the rest of the time. It tracks pretty good for a SOT. The magnetic drink holder is a great thought but it is rusting out which causes the kayak to look years older than it is. ... show more

I bought this not for fishing but to try out sit-on-top kayak as I enjoy my aspire 105 or pungo 120. And want to try sth different. So I have 5 miles test paddling today. Its tracking is as good as pungo. I really enjoy it. It is more fun than sit inside kayak I will say.

No problem at all with the product but I placed the order through Amazon who needs to fire the delivery service used to deliver them. Shipped within 2 weeks. Sat at a trucking terminal 2 hours from my residence for 5 weeks Never again.
