this appears to be a product that might be a 'buy it for life' item. I'm not using this with a coffee maker rather I am using this for concentrated pour over that then can be used throughout the week. My process was born to allow me a quick cup of coffee in the morning without the associated coffee making clean up. yes, I am lazy. I used to use Nespresso, then went to French press, even tried all of the instant coffees out there and now using this new process a side benefit is it costs quite a bit less compared to a pod and it doesn't have the associated garbage fill waste that a pod does. I use two cups a finely ground dark roast coffee in the basket pouring hot water over it to make one quart of finished concentrated coffee. keeping it in the refrigerator in a glass container I then use this concentrated Brew in a 4:1 ratio. four parts water to one part coffee warmed up in the coffee mug in the microwave. the coffee affectionatos will be disgusted at my process but it tastes great, deep dark roast flavor and did I mention I'm lazy. ... show more

The coffee brew cone is supposed to include the stainless steel wire basket. It arrived without the basket which is very important in the brewing process. Returning it.
