I got these the other day and used them on a garage project and I am impressed. They are so solid/heavy, great grip and torque and feel great in the hand. I can tell they are very well made and will last a lifetime. I have some Snap On screw drivers and I think these may be better. They are definitely heavy duty. With the extra weight and strength you can generate more torque on the screw. These are great for driving larger drywall screws into studs. I decided to get there regular screw drivers for smaller projects where less torque is required. ... show more

These are substantial. Precise. I like the solid weight. They are also the right size for my hands. Adult Male, 6’ tall. They don’t feel tiny or massive. I actually prefer the weight balance point on these. My new favorite and I own very high-end American and European tools. I didn’t think I’d actually pound on these but the same day I received them, I also got some sockets with ridiculous theft-proof packaging. I immediately used these to knock out the hard plastic core in each socket intended as a theft deterrent. Anyway... You don’t know me but I like quality and am willing to pay for it within reason. I have been using these more than my $300.00 set of Tool Truck screwdrivers. They are similar in build quality but my hands prefer the Wiha. The NEW Red and Black design looks great too.     • Beefy “man” screwdrivers !
Looked at several tool reviews. Not the highest rated but. It paying outrageous price either ! I think everyone will appreciate the full tang and metal striking butt cap on these. I’m not using them like chisels but you could if you had to. Improvements ? Handles could be a touch fatter and have a more rubbery gription factor. Still like them a lot. That's why I've bought about 12 screwdriver sets over the years. These will probably be my last one. They're strong and they feel like it. If you are the kind of person that wants to walk around the house with a strong and pricey screwdriver in your hand, then buy these. Go ahead and look at the dog and feel smug, knowing that dog can't afford the high-quality tools you now possess. Although a little pricey for some this set is worth every penny. I'm a professional carpenter and I use these screwdrivers almost every week. You may know that one of the more efficient ways to loosen an overly tight screw is to tap the head with a screwdriver and hammer. With the steel cap Wiha tools are designed for just this without being damaged. Over sized grips made with a non-slip material allow you to apply a tremendous amount of force if required. Corrosion protective finish on the CRM-72 tool steel blades is flawless. If you want a set that will truly last a lifetime, buy a German set from Wiha and you won't be disappointed. Keep an eye on them and put your name on them though, 'cause they tend to grow legs and disappear. ... show more

Only complaint I have is that there is 1 more flat blade and than Phillips which is annoying to look at in my screw driver holder... not a big deal but I would pay a little extra for 1 more long Phillips ph2 or ph3 wouldn't matter but not enough of a complaint to dock off a star

I purchased this set after reading several reviews. These are the best screwdrivers I have ever owned. Here's why: - Fit and finish (The Germans simply do it better!) - Ergonomics - Superior materials - Hex shaft I've owned Craftsman Pro, Snap-On, Stanley, Klein, and others. The old Craftsman Pro was not bad. I just bought the current Craftsman Pro and returned it the next day - junk. My Snap-On screwdrivers are very nice, but obviously pricey. If you want the best, buy Wiha. I'm a convert. UPDATE on 02/07/14: After owning and using this set for several months, I am downgrading my review to four stars (but with mixed feelings). The #531 PH2 X 100 is Wiha's #2 Phillips. For most of us, the #2 Phillips is one of the most frequently used screwdrivers and certainly the most used Phillips. The problem with the Wiha #2 Phillips is that the tip is a bit smaller than most other #2s on the market. It does not adequately fit a #8 screw. I purchased the Wera #2 Phillips driver to supplement the Wiha set and now rarely use the Wiha #2. I still prefer everything else about the Wiha. It is well balanced, feels great in the hand, performs well, etc. I am just a bit disappointed that my go-to screwdriver isn't what it needs to be. I made this a four-star review in the hopes that future buyers will see my comments before committing to an expensive 7-piece set. ... show more

    • Wiha screw driver is the best
These screwdrivers is so tough and it fits most of the crew that I've been working with. It won't strip the head of the screw if you use it correctly. This is not for electrical use.
