I bought this armor shirt/jacket in white, size M. It fits really well (38" chest, 160lbs) and will stretch a bit if needed. I bought white because I live in Arizona and need it to reflect as much sunlight as possible. My only negative, if you want to call it that is that the back pad is quite thick and it can make your back sweat more than it really should. Maybe that's just a personal thing. The pictures make it look like the padding is bright green, but it's not. You don't really see the color of the padding through the outer material. The armor padding is really good and stays in place well. It really feels like it would be great protection in and upset, but I hope I never have to find out! This jacket breaths very well and wicks away sweat making it quite cool as long as you're moving. So far, I've ridden in 95 degree heat with it and been pleasantly surprised! It fits well enough that in cooler weather you could put a regular wind breaker or other jacket on top of it without any discomfort. If I had to do it again, I might consider paying the extra $10 for the yellow/green, as that color usually reflects more heat. When I bought it, I didn't think the extra cost would be worth it, but now I would consider it. This shirt seems fairly expensive, but it works so well I would buy it again if I had to. Also, if you click on the link to the Wicked Stock store, you'll see that they sell pants made out of the same fabric with similar armor that you could wear over shorts. I might consider these in the future depending on how hot my jeans get! If you're looking for light weight, cool protection, you can't go wrong with this shirt! ... show more

    • Perfect for hot weather riding
I bought this because I live in SW Florida, where summers are quite hot and humid, so I needed something that would flow a lot of air and not trap heat. I also did a lot of research on summer riding gear and read a lot of reviews, and after reading several reviews on this jacket from riders that had gone down while wearing it and not only reported no injuries but also that the jacket itself was undamaged, I bought it. And I can emphatically say that I am not disappointed! First, the fit. I am 6'1" and 170 pounds, and the large is perfect. It fits skin tight like athletic under armor, so the pads all stay exactly where they should be, yet it's so stretchy and flexible that you don't even consciously notice it after the first minute or so. It never pinches, bunches up or feels uncomfortable in any way. It stays down in back, the sleeves stay tucked into my gloves and don't ride up my arms when I'm riding, and the pads don't move around from where you position them when you put it on. And since it's hot weather gear, it's biggest feature, the ventilation/breathability, is superb. It doesn't trap heat when you're stopped at a traffic signal, and when you're moving it's like you don't even have it on it breathes so well. The pads are also excellent. Very flexible, cover the right areas without being intrusive or annoying, and the stay in place perfectly. My one complaint, and it's minor, is the black stripes across the tops of the shoulders. When you're at a stop the sun heats these up a little, but it's not an issue while you're moving. If you could get this with a lighter color than black on the shoulders it would be perfect. It would also be nice if there was a band-type collar to give your neck a little sun protection, but that's not even a criticism, just a wish on my part. well ventilated and maybe a touch too tight. The padding is quality and feels solid. I am 220lbs 6ft and ordered an XL. should have bought a XXL for a slightly less tight shirt. Works ok tho. Perfect for summer riding. Not sure how the mesh would hold up on a slide.

Just tried it on. Very nice work! Stitching is excellent, the fabric is very comfortable. The fit is not what I would call, "tight", but it is form-fitting. If you have a figure to flaunt, it'll show it. If you don't, well that'll show too. For reference I am 6'3", 207lbs. The XL is a perfect fit. If I had a lot of muscles, I might upsize. I got the orange and black, and out in the sun light you'll need shades to look at it. Doesn't hurt it happens to be Harley colors. I just took it around the property, doing light yard work in the Texas sun, 87 degrees, 78% humidity with the CE pads in place. No different than a long sleeve t-shirt. This shirt is absolutely amazing. The colors are a little off, so i went with white. I wanted the green one but it's more yellow than green, irrelevant I know. Anyway this is a great value, it's so lightweight and get so much airflow it makes those hot day rides way more tolerable! It's not as restrictive as heavier gear but has the same ce rated protection. So you can move around alot better, stay alot cooler, while also being protected. Can wear a shirt under it, over it, or just wear this by itself. I would get a size thats tight on you so the armor stays where it's supposed to. Just got the matching pants (which you want to order a size bigger). I'm liking this brand. ... show more

The shirt is fine and fits well but they use thick pads with very little or no holes, so it kind of partially defeats the purpose of this being a ventilated shirt. I’m not going to return it, but I think you can do a lot better for not much more money.

This jacket fits well, with all the protect you will need if you fall off your bike. Chest, back, shoulder, elbow and forearms are covered. It keep you cool because it mesh. I purchased the neon orange boy can I be seen. It is nice to know the protect is there also.
