We have a 9 year old lab Australian shepherd rescue. About 4 years ago, she developed TERRIBLE skin issues, chronic ear infections, and yeast. She was miserable and we were going broke! Monthly trips to the vet, daily meds, monthly injections, baths 3 times week with expensive shampoo, and prescription dog food cost THOUSANDS of dollars. Steroids helped only short term and high dollar prescription food made no difference and felt like a scam. We tried making our own food but honestly, it’s enough to cook for a family of 7 and I worried the dog wasn’t getting all the nutrients she needed. Someone suggested whole paws dog food. I thought, yeah right, whatever. A few months later, we just happened to be at Whole Foods and just happened to need dog food.
