I purchased this basket to use as a toy box for our cat. It works great due to the low side walls and ample dimensions. Her toys are spread out and not too many stacked on top of one another allowing her to select what she wants to pull out to play with while not having to dig and root around. Shelf basket is very well made. Rigid enough to maintain its shape while the soft nylon strapping used for the basket is a pleasant texture to the touch. This interwoven cloth tote works more like a basket than a box but that doesn't really matter to me. The metal frame seems sturdy and would withstand a drop on to a hard surface which is a plus.
