So far so good. This is great for my small short term rental apartment. I added shower hooks to the sides to hang more stuff. It's compact and easy to put together, in fact I don't think I had to put it together, it may have come assembled. I’ve been using this over-the-door drying rack for a bit now, and overall, it’s pretty handy. It’s great for small spaces since it folds up when not in use, and it holds a decent amount of clothes without taking up floor space. Super easy to set up—just hook it over the door, and you’re good to go. That said, I do wish the top hooks had some sort of clip or latch to keep the rack more secure. It stays in place most of the time, but if you bump it or load it unevenly, it can shift around a bit, which gets annoying. Still, for the price and convenience, it does the job. If you need an easy drying solution and don’t mind a little wonkiness when it comes to folding it up and out of the way, it’s worth considering. ... show more

I searched high and low for a decent drying rack that didn’t need to be “put away” or drilled into the wall, or overall just in the way. This is PERFECT to hang over the door. I have loaded this sucker up with leggings and sports bras and it has held up wonderfully. I love this thing! It is perfect for small spaces. And you don’t have to drag it out of a storage area, set it up, and then put it back every time you want to air dry some clothes. I find the folding it down and back up to be very easy. The best tip was from another user on here of putting Styrofoam between the hanger and the door to keep it stable (3rd photo). Five stars, highly recommend. (It easily fits an adult sweater over the front bars with delicates on the back bar and hooks.) ... show more

There's a lot of modifications I've had to make for this thing to work for me. The most glaring issue is that the door hooks are very wide, and in narrower doors that gap plus the ability for the frame to swivel means the hooks are too loose, the whole thing pulls up at an angle and then the door doesn't shut and trying to shut it like that could damage your door frame. The hooks do have a hole in them that could be used to attach some sort of spacer (or drill into the door which I didn't want to do) but the drying rack does not come with a spacer to fix the narrow door issue. So I stacked a bunch of small adhesive furniture floor pads together as a workaround and now my door shuts. Cheap and simple solution right there to anyone with the same issue. Other minor issue is that the drying rack freely swings and bangs against the door every time you open it. Not just the frame banging the door, also the support hinges loosely hanging and banging the door. Again, putting adhesive furniture pads did help to blunt and muffle it so it doesn't hit with as much force. And for the swinging hinges I'll look into getting something to tie them secure when not in use so they aren't constantly moving.     • Great small drying rack

This drying rack has been a good investment so far and for years to come, I'm sure. A lot of items can be hung on it if you use the plastic hooks it came with in combination with hangers. And it's fairly strong, too. Just make sure the little arms on each side get fully extended before putting things on it, make sure not to hang metal hangers directly on the white coating (so it doesn't scratch off), and when folding it back up, take care to do so gently so the joints don't get damaged. If the drying rack itself rattles when you open or close the door, a simple fix is putting something like small pieces of folded paper underneath the bottom corners and taping it to the door so it won't move. The same can be done for the hooks at the top (minus the tape) to close the gap. ... show more
