Even though all the lengths screw together, it doesn’t feel wobbly at all. Other than the sturdy plastic joiners, it’s all metal. The poles are great as advertised. They don't lie there. The rake itself, however, is cheap flimsy junk. Bent right were the rake connects to the poles with the first few sweeps of leaves. Bent it back and then the rake came out of the little holder it's in. Leaves are fairly dry and lights as well. Would not recommend, unless you are looking for good poles alone.
