  • Comfortable, grippy
Size: 11 Color: 2_ Dark Grey
I tried minimalist shoes from Whitin, Saguaro, and Weweya. I wear the Whitin shoes most often. I love the way my toes have adjusted to spreading out wider, and my feet are not as tired at the end of the day. I had to get used to having less heel padding than typical shoes at first, but it was not horrible or excessively painful. The soles are very grippy and handle rough surfaces well. Rocks are sometimes noticeable, but none have been painful. The soles of all three were similar. The footbed (where the insole lays on top of) of the Whitin and Weweya are made of a rubbery material. This material has not held up well in my Whitin shoes and causing some molding on the bottom of the insoles. I suggest taking the insoles out after each use to let them air out. The Saguaro footbed appears to be a nylon fabric that I expect to be most durable and breathable. The Saguaro uppers are made of thin nylon(??) material that seems durable so far. This material has little padding and rubs on my bare skin a little. The Saguaro shoes have the lowest profile of the three, making sock choices more relevant. These shoes are also the best-looking of the three. The Weweya's appear to have superior uppers, being thicker with more padding and more durable materials. The Weweya shoes did not get much wear time because the rubber sole wraps over the top of my toes and grips my toes uncomfortably. I guess my toes are too thick for Weweya shoes I have since returned. ... show more

  • First day was a bit achy but afterward it's my favorite shoe and I'm ordering another pair now!
Size: 12.5 Color: 2_ Dark Grey
Such a simple shoe but I love it. I have a closet full of shoes and I wear this one more than any other. It took a day or so to get used to it but now I don't want to wear anything else. I even wear these to work and it's the ONLY shoe I own that sticks to tile like Spiderman to a wall. If the tile floors in the office hallways are damp from mopping you'd never know in these shoes. They feel like they have adhesive on them and just don't slip at all. The thin soles allow for any mud that you might get stuck in the bottom of them to just fall out after a few steps on dry ground. I've washed mine several times without issue. They are very durable to be so light and thin. Great shoe! ... show more

  • Fit and feel
Size: 9 Color: 2_ Camo Blue
Good deal for the deal. If you’re looking to branch into zero drop/ minimalist shoes these are a great start. Size wise, I wear between 9-10 in most shoes, Merrell, asics. So for these I order a 9 and would say I’d been happy with anything between a 9-10. The 9 with the wide toe box has plenty of room while my feet are adjusting to the space but I can tell I’ll definitely have to move to a 10 by the time my feet finally open up. The build quality on the shoe is very nice, good for they gym or an outside workout. The insole that comes with the show is a nice touch as you transition as well. From what I can tell it doesn’t seem to effect the heel drop or how your foot preforms in the shoe. ... show more

  • Surprisingly comfortable
Size: 8.5 Color: 2_ Black Gum
The shoes are surprisingly comfortable to wear at work, which has wood floors. They fit well, grip well on smooth flooring and wet pavement, and they're light. The toe area is roomy, zero squeezing or pinching. I do not run. At all. I just like the wear and feel of the shoes. The appearance is nicely quirky without being over-the-top. f you're like me and want a pair of shoes to leave at work to slip into when you can favor comfort over professional appearance, these could be good shoes for you. NOTE: If you have foot problems, you could find that these shoes do not provide the cushioning and support that you need. ... show more

  • Shoe Width, Water Resistance, Soreness 10/10; best shoes for price.
Size: 10 Color: 1_ Black
1. If you have a single wide foot, take a normal shoe size. If you have a double wide or larger, go for the next size up. (My foot is single wide and fits comfortable. A double wide would not.) 2. I live in the pacific north west. I took these shoes out in a thunder storm and they got DAMP. Not wet- Damp. In light to medium rain, they were water-proof. 3. These shoes will make you sore when you first switch. I walked about 5-6miles a day in regular shoes. Could only do 2-3 with these. 3a. You really need to give yourself time and build up your strength before you take these shoes on the regular. It took me 4-6 weeks to fully adapt and even now; if you are endurance walking or hiking, you want something else with ankle support. However, these shoes are also water resistant and can be worn without a sole so they are dual-purpose; much better than any watersock or similar. 4. Traction is subliminal and ive only had better shoes from the restaraunt industry that were "No slide" Further, the toes have a slightly harder tip and more tubber so if you stub your toe, it doesnt hurt at all. 5. You can feel that a thing is sharp when you stand on it because you feet can feel the shape through the sole. If you stand on glass, you know its glass before it crunches. Same for rocks. However, they are not stabbing through or causing pain or distress. Youre just aware its there. 6. The firmness of the bottom of the shoe is something between a hard leather (Like a moccacin) and the hard rubber you might find on the end of a movable cart to prevent denting. (Not the soft rubber from a car tire.) Hope this clears up some confusion I saw in the comments when I was unsure about getting these shoes. ... show more

  • Very surprised how these feel and are wearing!
Size: 10 Color: 1_ Classic Black Gum
Okay Im 6' 215lbs and I walk a 65lb bmc 3-4 miles a day. On and off road. I have worn expensive hikers to every sneaker imaginable. My feet hurt especially my 3rd and 4th toes. I did what some of the others said not to do. I wore them for 4 miles on pavement, no socks. I think socks will change the way they feel. A. I'm about 8 times out with these. The sole looks brand new. That is amazing. B. If they last, I will wear these walking every day. Until winter anyway. I don't wear them around the yard. I don't run in them. But even off road they feel stable and like I am barefoot. For the cost of these compared to high end brand name shoes, why wouldn't you try them? ... show more
