I was diagnosed a couple years ago with ADHD inattentive type, which explains why I have sometimes such a hard time staying focused at work despite my best efforts. at work due to noise and distractions from employees. Even with my door closed, I get distracted easily due to noises and movements of employees, the office phone at the front desk, etc, so I figured I’d try this in the hopes it would help at least somewhat. Little did I know when I got this how great a choice I was making! The battery life is better than I could have hoped— I used it for days before needing to charge it. It’s small and takes up practically no space on my desk, I can move it easily and quickly if I need to make or take a phone call but don’t feel like turning it off. The sound quality is great, there are more sound options than I could ever need, the buttons are easy to use, and the volume range really suits my needs. This sound machine looks like a winner. PROS: 1) Tiny size great for traveling (takes almost no space at home, too); 2) buttons are intuitive and easy to use; 3) unit "remembers" what sound you were listening to; 4) a wide volume range, especially for its size; 5) timer feature; 6) listened only to the "rain" for an extended period of time, and didn't notice a "looping" effect; 7) Includes matching wrist lanyard; 8) "soft," velvety feel, and 9) overall, unit seems well made. CONS: 1) NON-replaceable rechargeable battery is a big downside and the only reason I gave this product four stars instead of five. Rechargeable batteries WILL eventually die, so not being to replace them is a concern. Further, I wonder about the long-term capacity of the battery and unit; 2) light on the back is too bright at night (I hang the unit--might have to lay it flat to minimize this issue); 3) attaching the wrist strap is difficult because the holes on the unit are too small; 4) buttons are exposed, so they might turn on accidentally if packed next to something hard in your suitcase. OTHER: Just received this sound machine yesterday, so use and experience is very limited, and I can't speak to its long-term reliability. And despite the BIG issue I have with non-replaceable batteries, I like this sound machine so much, I am likely to buy one or two more to have as back-up, or give away. ... show more

I got this for a trip so I didn’t have to pack my larger on on my nightstand. I like continuous fan noise to sleep too. Any break/reset to the noise wakes me. This is continuous and has other relaxing sounds too. I haven’t tried the other sounds but thinking about it! It’s super tiny so fits easily in any size travel bag. And even though tiny it’s loud! Will definitely block out other sounds. I got the wood grain color and it’s very tasteful sitting on a nightstand next to the bed. I haven’t used it much but haven’t had to recharge it yet so battery seems strong. We’ll see how long it stays strong overtime. Definitely a good buy! ... show more

I stayed in Paris and London hotels and I was thrilled how this machine operated. I used to take my portable Marpac. The company is no longer in business and my portable got burned out. It had a 220v switch but something went wrong on my trip in 2019. I have a larger unit from them but it is too heavy to travel with unless you are going away for a few days. It always got scrutinized going through the airport x-ray and by TSA workers. I needed something like the Babelio to take with me to Europe. It worked great. The beauty is I could recharge it using a USB cable. I brought along some converter plugs with USB ports. It was loud enough that I was able to sleep every night. This machine is very compact and easy to transport. The design is really nice looking and the sound is quite good. I’m very picky about my rain sound but am very pleased with this machine. It’s easy to charge and love that it does not need to be plugged in. The buttons work great, you just need to read the instructions to figure out how long to press the buttons for each function. Also, it has a tiny function light but it’s is on the bottom of device so it does not shine brightly at night. My other sound machine is like a flashlight and it keeps me up at night. Will likely buy a second one to replace my other sound machine. Super pleased with this product! ... show more

These little sound machines are so good!! My kids sleep with the big Dohm ones that have actual fans, I can’t handle to sound of loops so wanted to make sure we got ones that were continuous. I bought them to use on vacation because they will easily fit in any toiletry bag. But once I listened to it, I decided to use it in my room first! But Nature Sounds never sound real so I avoid those, but there is brown noise, white noise, and pink noise with lots of volume settings. My next door neighbor enjoys loud TV from 10 pm to 7am. I bought 2 of these, placed them up against my bedroom wall, and and one by my living-room wall; it drowns out his TV noise. Apparently he's not fond of the sound of rainfall and birds chirping; because he moves his TV away from my wall when I turn these on. It's a win-win. The sounds are pleasant to me. UPDATE: The seller contacted me and gave a full refund. Because of the great customer service I will likely buy another one before my next trip. Used for traveling and it worked great for 3 nights then would only stay on for about a minute. It was plugged into USB so it should have been charged.
