I love these shoes! They are close to perfect and I hope White Mountain continues to make them as it's getting harder to find them in all colors and sizes. I bought black and liked them so much, I then bought another pair in light taupe. I don't trust the internet to convey colors accurately so was curious to see what taupe would look like "in person." Answer: awesome neutral without being bland. Perfect balance between tan/grey that will go with absolutely everything. I quickly ordered a second pair in taupe. These shoes are amazingly well designed. I appreciate the cut of the front portion that ends right at the bottom of my toes, a flattering cut that makes feet look smaller and also doesn't rub uncomfortably on the instep. Usually a heel/wedge that high is uncomfortable, but these aren't and I can see myself wearing them every day...attractive but also comfortable. Finally, if you're debating between two sizes, I'd go smaller. I usually wear 8.5 and have a wide foot. But in these, I prefer the 8. However, thanks to the ankle strap, when I couldn't find taupe in size 8, I opted for 8.5. It's a little on the roomy side, but the ankle strap makes it work. Very comfortable shoe. Should have Listened to the reviews and sized down to a 6.5 but the 7 stays on with padding and the ankle strap. I can stand and teach in these shoes for hours. And they do not look cheap at all.

I saw a few people talking about how comfortable they were, and they were right! I spent several hours cooking and by the end of it my feet felt fine! They are crazy comfortable! No sharp/irritating material to rub anywhere, they are light weight, it’s like I wasn’t wearing heels. Lol I don’t know how quickly they will tear up so I’m curious about that. I’d say the measurements are accurate as well! I’m used to buying thrift store shoes so they were a lot more pricey than what I’m used to.
