I took a risk and purchased these after my back started hurting with typical dress shoes. I was skeptical of Dr. Scholls as a dressy shoe. They make decent casual stuff, but a dress shoe? I was afraid they would look cheap or orthopedic. They are neither. They look just as good as high end shoes, but they are comfortable, and best of all my back doesn’t hurt anymore. I will say that their only drawback is that they run narrow. So if you normally do not buy the wide width, try that size. I wear a 10.5 regular and these in a 10.5w are perfect. What a nice shoe!

I really needed a pair of good looking shoes in 12 wide. Never thought I would buy a pair of shoes from Amazon but when the the virtual try on, I couldn't resist! Anyway, I bought a pair in black and they looked great and Dut even better. I live these shoes so much that I bought a second pair in brown. They are sleek and really look great. I actually had a funny story when I wire them to a high-end sinner recently in Chicago. I have a good friend who spends thousands on expensive shoes! So we leave dinner and I look at him and ask him how he likes my new designer shoes. He says he loves the design and I tell him they are designed by a well known German designer. Of course he asks me who and I tell him “Dr. Scholl” he howled! anyway, I just wore them on a long trip to Sweden where I wore my brown shoes all the way over and then wore my black shoes the entire trip while I was there in business meetings, and then all the way back on the airplane and they were superbly comfortable, and they look terrific. they are not made of leather, but they breathe nicely and they do look like leather so I would really recommend them highly.

The shoes are super comfortably and for sure would be a favorite for me, but after a month of wearing the outside has started peeling and looks horrible. Just has not held up well and it’s only been a month.

As a guy with no fashion sense, I asked a female friend of mine, and her teenage daughter, which of 4 "orthopedic style" brown colored shoes looked best. They both picked this one hands down. And I can't disagree. On style, this shoe gets a solid 10. More importantly though, for comfort and support, this shoe also gets a "10". I need strong support and cushion for plantar fasciitis and many shoes that claim they are orthopedic really aren't. This pair was amazingly supportive and comfortable on my feet from day one. They are not the cheapest shoes on Amazon but I would spend the money and buy these again in a heartbeat. Can't tell how long they'll hold up for but even if I can get just a year out of them, they're worth the cost.

My fiancé loves these and has worn them to work months now. My one critique is that the sole is separating from the shoe at this point; not sure if that’s just because he’s hard on his shoes or if it’s not attached well though!

These shoes were like a match made in heaven for my feet - comfortable, stylish, and oh-so-perfect. But just when I thought we were in it for the long haul, they decided to fall apart faster than a house of cards in a windstorm. And get this, it wasn't like I was running a marathon in these babies; I was just strutting my stuff in the classroom, teaching eager minds. But nope, apparently that was too much for these shoes to handle. So here I am, over a month later, with a pair of shoes that are more holes than material. And wouldn't you know it, the return window closed just as my shoes decided to stage their grand exit. Talk about impeccable timing. Listen, I'm not asking for much - just a refund or a new pair that won't disintegrate faster than a popsicle in the Sahara. Is that too much to ask?

These shoes are very stylish and have decent support, but run too small for the stated manufactured size. I ordered size 8.5M, which has always been a good fit for me, but these shoes were way too narrow especially in the toes and would not wear in or stretch at all after wearing them for several days. I had to return them, as they were causing way too much foot pain and I did not anticipate them breaking in. Based on the reviews I did not anticipate this sizing issue. Perhaps this was just a poorly made pair. I would not take the chance and order these again.

The media could not be loaded. The packaging was very nice, and the shoe quality seems excellent. Based on the other reviews, we went with a wide width. He loved them and they fit very well. I think they will last a long time so good value for the money.
