Know Your size!!! The "wide" size is very wide. Great shoe! Looks good. I bought the navy denim, size 8.5. Fits perfect. I think they run true to size. They look good with both denim and navy blues. Not stiff, they move with your foot making them very flexible. My previous navy/white striped White Mountain Mamba, I've had for LOTS OF YEARS. And they still look and feel good. I love this shoe! My only issue is the length of the strap and buckle design. Threading the strap through the buckle is difficult for me. I just can't be in a hurry when I wear it.

I love these shoes! They are close to perfect and I hope White Mountain continues to make them as it's getting harder to find them in all colors and sizes. I bought black and liked them so much, I then bought another pair in light taupe. I don't trust the internet to convey colors accurately so was curious to see what taupe would look like "in person." Answer: awesome neutral without being bland. Perfect balance between tan/grey that will go with absolutely everything. I quickly ordered a second pair in taupe. These shoes are amazingly well designed. I appreciate the cut of the front portion that ends right at the bottom of my toes, a flattering cut that makes feet look smaller and also doesn't rub uncomfortably on the instep. Usually a heel/wedge that high is uncomfortable, but these aren't and I can see myself wearing them every day...attractive but also comfortable. Finally, if you're debating between two sizes, I'd go smaller. I usually wear 8.5 and have a wide foot. But in these, I prefer the 8. However, thanks to the ankle strap, when I couldn't find taupe in size 8, I opted for 8.5. It's a little on the roomy side, but the ankle strap makes it work.     • Cute spring show BUT...

Super cute wedge with perfect walking height. Wore these for spring family pictures outside and they went perfectly with my dress. I will say my feet developed blisters fairly quickly on the left and right side of each foot from the canvas rubbing against my skin. Perhaps if the top portion extended a little further back, it would act as better support. I also took a star away for the simple fact that keeping these shoes clean will be a task (perhaps I should have sprayed them with a protectant prior to wearing). No heel blisters developed and the ankle strap was adequate support to keep the shoe from producing that "floppy" sound. In all, very cute spring shoe but not without flaws. I am a solid size 8 in flat but did head advice and ordered 1/2 down and they fit perfectly. My foot is in between narrow and wide widths. ... show more
