This boot is very nice looking and for the most part was comfortable. But, the toe box was too tight. I wish both the toe box & calf was a Wide width. When I ordered a 9 W I thought it was going to be both but only the calf area. What I am super impressed with is that I dropped this in a return box on Friday and as of today, Monday, my return has already been processed and credited back to my CC. A friend commented she loved her White Mountain boots and wanted to buy another pair so I decided to give them a shot. I have a size 11 foot with 17" calves so comfortable, stylish boots are hard to find. The price is excellent matching the quality. The boot shaft is made of a thinner leather, which molds to the leg nicely and does not bunch at the ankle. I was concerned about the thinness of the leather of the boot shaft (we have some pretty cold winters here) so I bought a much more expensive (twice the price!) brand that had a thicker leather on the shaft. Boy what a mistake!!! The boot shaft's thicker, heavier leather caused it to bunch around my ankles creating deep dents that bruised my ankle making them now impossible to wear. Thank goodness for my White Mountain boots! I was able to wear them without any discomfort despite the bruising from the heavy leather boot . A classic case of less is more! I will definitely buy White Mountain boots again! ... show more

I bought these boots because I have several pairs of booties from this brand and they are stylish and comfortable. I’m still attempting to break these boots in, but every time I’ve worn them I end up with extremely sore feet and/or blisters. Great quality material, just not a lot of give.

They are awesome, look like leather very, very comfortable. I ordered two pair, using a size 1/2 larger than I normal wear knowing that I would bewaring heaver stockings. Perfect fit, room for my toes to have room without feeling tight. A friend was wearing them and mention to her I thought her boots were very "snappy". She gave me all the information, was very happy with my purchase. I am 76 years old, love wearing my boots, can be in style, walk with no problem, very comfortable.
