First off I was apprehensive about buying this, from reading mixed reviews but my daughter really wanted it and for less then $40 why not make her happy. I searched for a good quality reasonably priced canopy to fit my kids’ beds for a long time. Glad I finally found this one and it’s perfect. The cost was better than most other options I considered. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality when it arrived given the price. The netting seems very durable and stitching at the seams is really good. At first I wasn’t sure how it would fit over our house beds but it was a great fit and I was able to style it to my kids’ preference. The star lights were a great bonus and made this canopy more versatile than other options. My kids love changing the colors and we were able to drape the stars different for each of them. I'll start by saying I broke out in a decent sweat putting this up and I work on a farm. However, it's very pretty and I love the lights. It doesn't come with any instructions but it was moderately easy to figure out. The sticky hooks are staying in place so far. I kind of wish the string of lights were longer so I could have layered them more, but I can't complain too much. I can always get another kind of light to hang up. Now, for those of you who have aracbaphobia or any other kind of insect phobia, I will have you know that bugs LOVE this thing, especially spiders. They seem to think it's like a giant web. I have pulled one out every night since putting this up and a wasp this morning and bugs usually don't come in here. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not. Luckily, I like spiders and have kept them as pets before, so it's not a deal breaker for me. I just catch and release and it's mildly annoying but I can't imagine being scared of them and trying to squash a spider on this thing without it tearing down and/or the spider just rapidly fleeing in fear towards you. I think any canopy like this that is this texture would do the same thing, so I can't count it against my review but just thought it was something people should know. So I didn’t notice two things about this netting. One, it’s meant for full size or bigger beds. Two they have hooks in the ceiling for it to attach to. I bought it for my daughter’s twin canopy bed thinking it just lays over the top. It’s way too big. However it has fabric loops that you are supposed to put onto the hooks in the ceiling (which are provided). The hooks have adhesive and she is 10 so that would never work. Instead I turned the netting inside out, cut the fabric loops and tied it to her bed frame. It makes a nice pretty droop across the middle end to end. I’m very happy I was able to make adjustments to it without having to return it. She loves it. I used zip ties to put the lights up bc I don’t believe the wire clips provided wouldn’t eventually tear the netting. ... show more

This comes with so much fabric! It could easily cover California king bed. It's meant to hook onto your ceiling. So if you have a ceiling fan be mindful of that. In my daughters room we have a 4 post bed, so I just modified it slightly in order for it to be just on the 4 posts. The string of lights is pretty. Lots of colors & functions on the remote. The string of lights is very long! It fit around my daughters full size bed almost twice! My complaint with the lights is that if you want it on just yellow, all of the lights aren't on just yellow. The media could not be loaded. What a complete disappointment! I bought this bed canopy to hang over my daughter’s bed. First off the netting must be aired outside for a minimum of 24 hours to get rid of the chemically smell ( It says this on the box). I was weary of the off gassing smell so after setting it outside for a day I also placed it inside with a fan to air it out for six hours, this helped with the smell, but I wonder what chemical the netting was treated with? The package comes with two types of mounting systems: 1) double sided tape or screw in with plastic anchors. There were no instructions on how to set the spacing of the ceiling anchors which frustrated me (the included instructions were for the operation of the remote and light string). I had to spread the net on the floor and look for the loops that would hold the netting up, from there you would have to guess the placement of the anchors on your ceiling. The battery case where the three AAA batteries are housed was so cheap that if you just moved the case you would lose electrical connection and it would shut off ( see the video). I would not recommend this canopy at all due to the smell and cheap light string. Avoid buying this! ... show more
