Run, don't walk to buy this. Yes it has corner tabs Yes it's soft Yes it's fluffy Yes it's all cotton and feathers I would say the cotton shell is the equivalent of 600-800 TC. Excellent quality. Double stitching around the edges. No smell right out of the sealed package. Has textile tags for confirmation. There is only one "con" that I can muster up and it's not a con for me, but for some who don't like loud bedding. This duvet insert, because it's made with an excellent quality cotton shell, is crinkly loud-ish. But I personally love the sound of crispy sheets. This is a great buy. UPDATE NEXT DAY I'm happy to report no sweating issues. It breathes soooo well. I was comfortable all night long. Also, I did happen to read the care instructions tag on the duvet itself which contradicts what is on the Amazon description. The tag says to wash on gentle cycle and NOT to tumble dry but to LINE dry. I should need to do this but a couple times a year since I use a duvet cover. Perfect weight! Needs fluffing when opening, individually fluffing each square👀. Bought for the change from summer to fall and feels like a dream. Very breathable , material wasn’t feathery, feels much more expensive than it is.

*** purchased a more expensive one, paying twice as much, and, honestly, not a super huge difference. Ended up keeping this and feeling rather foolish for kinda dogging it a bit *** I think, in retrospect, for the low price of this duvet, it’s actually pretty dang good. I left it out for a couple of days, waiting to pack it up to return, and it fluffed up considerably. I would encourage you leave it out for a few days, not a few hours.
