These are pretty much okay, but not the best. I managed to break one against my hair. I would hope that a chain would be stronger than hair, but -- oh well. Also, they are very long, so unless you have a lot of body, your glasses could hang really low. Mine hit my belt when I am seated. Also, be aware that chain isn't the best thing to have against either plastic or glass lenses, so make sure to keep them separated when the glasses aren't on your body.

I recently started wearing reading glasses. My wife and daughter make fun of me. They had been teasing me that I should really look like an old man and wear a chain necklace around my neck to carry the glasses. Well guess what they got me for my 47th birthday. They laughed and laughed as I opened it. But my daughter forgets she is 16 and that I'm not. So what they had gotten to mock me (for my birthday, mind you, a present to mock me) has now become a regular part of my daily attire. I make sure to stand close to my daughter while in public and put the glasses on and off even when it's not necessary I wear them. She's embarrassed. So embarrassed.

All 3 arrived broken in little pieces. I could almost understand 1 arriving that way, but all 3. I purchased awhile ago and just now needed a replacement. Beyond the return timeframe. This is pure junk. junk. junk. Gee, I wonder where it is made?
