Ok these are pretty thin but they work well for what I use them for which is crafting. They’re excellent for anything with a shabby chic theme. I cannot attest to their performance in quilting or any sort of sewing since that is not why I purchased them but they do seem fairly sturdy, are of a soft cotton and I haven’t noticed any blemishes in the fabric itself or the patterns - which are very coordinated, soft and feminine. ... show more

I originally gave this fabric 1 star, however, after being contacted by the seller, I have added 2 stars. They really went above and beyond to make me happy. 1 star for customer service. I gave the other star because, after the explained the horrible mold smell was due to a chemical "wrinkle release" I did a second burn test. It is in fact cotton. I wanted fabric that looked like it had come out of an old trunk found in an attic. This has that look. The colors are not nearly as vibrant as shown, it is very thin, (not really a problem, as I make cottagecore clothes for Barbie size dolls.) the dyes on some of the fabrics are very blotchy and the weave is very loose. For authenticity, after 2 washings, it SMELLS like it has sat in a trunk in a musty attic for 50 years. I have worked with cotton fabric for years, this doesn't feel like cotton, and a burn test confirmed a high polyester content. Definitely not worth the money. ... show more

I just received these fat quaters and I absolutely love the patterns. If you like vintage/shabby chic, this is the fabric for you. It is quite lightweight but it will be fine for the quilt I am making. It would be nice if it came in other colors.

Perfect for my project. They are a bit thinner than I was expecting. Ordered 8 batches. Some were not as well cut in terms of on the grain of the fabric and had to trim. Occasionally, had a swatch with an imperfection.
